Don't look for anything derogatory in it (if we send someone to the water in the Czech Republic, we want to get rid of him) :-). I'm just sending you there for material on a new topic. The topic for this challenge is

AQUATIC AND MARSH PLANTS

Your task will be:

• take a documentary photo of your chosen plant
• add the scientific name of the plant
• attach a description of where you took the photo and what interested you, or how useful the plant is

Water lily (Nymphaea)

It grows freely in stagnant and slightly flowing waters. It is also often grown as an ornamental plant. It has a beautiful flower and floating leaves.

I photographed my water lilies over the fence on the breeding tank for the fish fry. Small fish like to swim under water lily leaves. They are thus protected from above by attackers.

• It is NOT possible to submit the main competition announced by the leader of the @adalger community and this thematic competition with one contribution. If this happens, such a contribution will not be included in the thematic competition.

How are winners selected?
The entire DNA community will vote for the winners. That's why we created a special competition channel #challenge-entries in DNA Discord (Amazing Nature Contest). Here I will publish a post with the announcement including the winners (Announcement) EVERY MONDAY together with all your contributions (Contributions) EVERY SUNDAY. Each DNA member will be able to assign a "voting emoji" under the items for 24 HOURS. In the end, the lucky winners are three of them. In case of a draw, I will join as a judge.
