Images and Ideas Challenge, Hive to be won CLOSED

(Edited)

It's time to wrap up the second round of the challenge and it's nice to see some more entries for the topics. However, I'm still a little disappointed we aren't seeing much from the image users side. It's actually really easy to suggest topics and you will get votes on it plus a chance of being a beneficiary in the next challenge, so don't be afraid to step up and give it a go.

This week we had two entries for crypto:

https://peakd.com/hive-118554/@freepix/investment-paperwork-stockphoto
https://peakd.com/hive-118554/@iodacasamia/crypto-challenge-hive-stock-images-engita

Both superb!

Then for climate we had three:

https://peakd.com/hive-118554/@asklanbudi/stock-images-fog-covers-the-mountains
https://peakd.com/hive-118554/@naisfreedom/hivestockimages-or-two-seasons-in-the-tropics

A nice variety of images from weather to its effects when we get extremes.

I'm going to select a winner from each category and for crypto I think @iodacasamia offered a great selection and for climate I liked the quality captures of @lifeskills-tv.

Congrats to both of you, 10 Hive has been sent your way.

This week's suggestion came from @ligayagardener who is looking for more images to use in his ongoing extreme climate fiction story. Thank you for the suggestion, you will be this week's beneficiary.

How it works

The challenges will run every two weeks. Each round we will have a topic or two for our contributors to try their hand at. We invite everyone to give their feedback on any entries and the best one will win Hive. Meanwhile, we ask anyone who has been looking to use images to tell us what they are looking for in the comments on this post and these suggestions will be put forward as the challenge topics for future competitions, with the suggesting account added as a beneficiary of that challenge post. They will also be invited to judge any entries and pick their favourite submission. If they also choose to use a submission, then all the better. You don't have to be currently looking for images to suggest them, you can suggest anything you may have used or wanted to use in the past or that you think might be in demand.

We invite people to add an upvote to their favourite suggestions and this will play a part in which ones will be selected first for the next challenge.

This week's challenge topics will be:

1:
Fire

2:
The second is more complex and there's a bonus if you can come up with something @ligayagardener can use: A city scene in a world where temperatures have risen and people are struggling to get food, water and survive in general.

Rules

We have 20 Hive for the winning entry. All quality entries will be nominated for curation if they aren't already well rewarded. Votes will be given on all good suggestions for images, with the chosen suggestion/s added as a beneficiary on the next challenge post.

Hi!
I'm using images for my, increasingly popular story, 'Infernal'. It's a look at how people can band together and resolve local, immediate problems caused by the climate disaster.

It's setting is pretty dystopic but after the bleak intro, its got a pretty positive message that, even though we're too late to stop the runaway train we've unleashed, we can help each other get through on a personal and community level.

The story in not a utopic vision, rather it's a 'thrutopia' , a story about how we get there. The pics I'm currently after are urban setting.

At the end of the month, I'll give 1 Hive to the creator of each image I use. You'll get full credit for the pic with each post too, of course. I'll be paying @iodacasamia 1 Hive for this image shortly.

@ligayagardener, I'm making a setup like this, (still building details around)...I hope it can be functional for your needs.
I will make a city skyline later on with more desolate buildings (less colors).
I will add a small puddle of water and maybe a broken pipe.
I will also add dead vegetation and eventually air pollution and color correction.
It still shouldn't get too hellish....
