Making Content Discovery Better On Hive With The New Curation Algorithm
Content discovery has always been an issue with the HIVE chain since inception, there have been several instances which the development team has tried to address this issue by putting out algorithms which in turn should address this issue. Few hours ago on “X” the “FOR YOU” algorithm was previewed by @khal which he tweeted that - One issue on Hive has always been content discovery.
Take a sneak peek at how our algo recognizes even new users and places them front and center. Great content gets put front and center. And what’s the definition of great content? Simply put, it’s content that YOU the user want to see, An incredible win for #hive
This is me testing our new algorithmic feeds - a first-ever for Hive It sorts content by individualized relevance using only on-chain data. We call it “For You” What’s amazing here is I see a new user’s first post in my For You.
Some are of the notion that even with the new algorithm, without the proper use of tags we still find ourselves back at where we come from but optimism fills the air has we hope that the “FOR YOU” algorithm actually addresses things/ content finding on Hive-chain.
