Dealing with Customers | Video, Blog, Broadcast | Starting a New Habitbull Habit!

Okay, here's a quick record of what I got done today for my online business, my five habits and the #ctpcontent challenge...

I didn't have any appointments today so I've been home all day and completely free to work on my projects. I woke up around 5:30am and fired up my laptop and phone...

Dealing with Clients

The first two emails I saw were requests for assistance from a customer and a referral of mine.

My customer had bought my Reader Bonus upgrade on EliteDownlineBuilder.com, which gets you access to the digital version of my book, A Thousand A Month as well as a bunch of other perks on the membership site.

In our exchanges during the day I put the problem right and was grateful for his feedback as it uncovered one or two glitches in the system that I put right or at least am now aware of.

The other message was from one of my Freebitco.in referrals who has accumulated enough satoshi to swap out for FUN tokens. He posted a comment on my blog in which he was really looking for reassurance about whether investing in FUN was the best thing for him to do. That, of course, is not something that I can judge.

Big Shock! "Lock" means "Lock!"

He also wanted to access the 25% APY that you can earn on FUN tokens if you "lock" them for 360 days. However, he wondered if he would be able to withdraw his FUN tokens if he changed his mind!

Ahem!

Just to be clear, if you LOCK your FUN tokens for 360 days at 25% APY, you will NOT be able to "change your mind" and withdraw them any time.

You, as someone who is (perhaps optimistically) presumed to be a responsible and intelligent adult, have just entered into a mutually agreed CONTRACT to LOCK your FUN for 360 days. Those are the terms. There is no get out clause! You agree to lend your FUN to Freebitcoin for 360 days, and in return for the liquidity you give them, they agree to pay you back your FUN after 360 days with a whopping 25% interest gain to boot!

Daily Exercise Habit

After those little adventures, I had a nice snooze until 8am and then got up and did my morning exercise routine so I was able to turn the "exercise circle" green on my Habitbull app before going downstairs to have breakfast.

Today my lateral splits were wider than ever and I held the position for 75 seconds. Then I did 15 press-ups - five more than I set for my daily habit. :)

Video... Blog... Broadcast!

I spent the rest of the morning working on something that I put off yesterday... namely, sending a broadcast to my mailing list.

Confession: This is the first time I've adjusted my #ctpcontent schedule... I was out teaching yesterday, but home all day today, and I wanted to create a video and blog about it and make that the subject of my broadcast, so today presented a much better occasion to do that than yesterday did.

The topic of the video was about how I convert my SFI Marketing Group affiliate commissions and Rewardical tokens into Bitcoin payments that are deposited directly into my FreeBitco.in account sometime in the middle of each month.

I posted the video on my blog @ https://davidhurley.net/how-to-convert-sfi-commissions-rewardicals-into-bitcoin-payments/

Here's the video:

Or watch it on Odysee @ https://odysee.com/@DavidHurley:2/How-To-Convert-SFI-Commissions-and-Rewardicals-into-Automatic-Bitcoin-Payments:e?r=5bnZgYT699Xyip92qijVTKJFZayj9d7h

Once I had published the blog post, my autoresponder, Sendsteed, automatically picked it up and turned it into an instant broadcast that went out on autopilot to my "Beginners Crypto Course" mailing list. Nice and easy!

Chess Training Habit

In the afternoon I switched my attention to my "chess habit" and struggled my way through some of the arcane variations that make up the Fajarowitz Gambit deep inside my 1.d4 opening repertoire memory system...

Those variations are going to need some more work as I have hit less familiar territory and need to fix some of the keywords and opening patterns more firmly in my noddle...

Squeeze Page Promotion Habit

Anyway, once that was done I moved on to the "promote my squeeze page" habit and sent an email promoting my Beginners Crypto Course to various safelists that are affiliated to ViralMailProfits through their upgraded "Power Mailer" service. In addition I sent an email to the membership of MyTrafficPlanet and ViralTrafficOutbreak.

That reminds me... Yeseterday's safelist mailings proved the most successful yet and yielded 7 new subscribers. Boom!

My New Habitbull Habit: Language Study

As the evening drew in I decided to get started with a new "5th habit". I decided against making academic writing one of my daily tasks as it would probably prove too challenging once the autumn term starts at both of my colleges later this month.

Instead, I have revived an old project of "studying" languages by transcribing reading passages and dialogues into a notebook.

The new habit is to work with one foreign language for 30 minutes a day during the week. I haven't set the exact schedule yet, but the languages I'll be working on are:

Italian
German
French
Latin
Japanese
and maybe some beginners Korean just for fun!

I thought I'd start off nice and easy today by transcribing some Italian from a good old BBC Italian study book called "Italia dal Vivo" that I took with me to Italy as a young teacher back in the late 1980s. (Yes, this is one book I won't be getting rid of just yet!)

And that left just this habit to get done - publish a blog post on CTP Talk!

Done and dusted!

Goodnight.
