How Steemit ended up a better blockchain called Hive 🔥

It was quite an interesting tweet because someone from Twitter saying that everyone building web3 social doesn't remember how Steemit and Cent ended up.

Personally, I have no knowledge or slightest idea of what was cent, it is my first time hearing about this platform. On the other hand, I guess the man is misled or maybe just ignores that Hive exists, we are aware of how Steemit ended up and taken over by the community to be rebranded called Hive which is vastly superior in everything compare to Steemit.

I am grateful to see that most of the comment under this tweet talks about Hive, this is a real deal for me as it shows the real power of the community. We can leverage everything this blockchain has to offer and that includes our voice on Twitter to say of what existed today which is a blockchain for web 3.0 on Hive.

I still wonder why HIVE is so unknown to so many in the crypto universe. Even Steemit didn't know too much, but HIVE seems to go unnoticed whilst it hoovers somewhere in the top 100 to 200 most of the time these days. Super you did some extra effort to get the algo's of Twitter to like the referred Tweet. I suppose we shall do this more often. 🎶🥳

We are wondering the same thing, we are speculating that some are just ignoring Hive because no one can do OTC deal with it because it has no premine. By the way thanks for your time being here :)

I can think of some other reasons as well. Maybe the lack of a central team for projects outside of the HIVE community not to select HIVE to use for their dApp, whether the idea of such a central team is good or not. Maybe because HIVE is seen as social media. We've had this topic on Twitter, peeps see crypto-based social networks as not successful. Maybe it's because we don't have a clear vision, of what we want to be. Who knows. I must say, I think we should somehow get a team together who can work full-time on bringing projects to HIVE. And possible also a team of engineers and software architects whenever some tech needs to be created to help onboard new projects and dApps.
