Mi feliz cumpleaños. [Esp/Eng]

Saludos cordiales, estimados, hivers de la C/Family&Friends, es un gusto escribir a cerca del acontecimiento personal de mi cumpleaños. Es sábado, treinta de septiembre, me despertó la madrugada para respirar el aire fresco que fluye con la alborada, cargado de florecientes colores anaranjados con matices rosados que parecen tener el tono rosado de una fruta de granada. Se me agua la boca. Me aseo rápidamente para recibir el regalo del sol naciente. Salgo a la calle, ágilmente, camino hacia la laguna. No puedo perderme este espectáculo de la vida natural donde resido. Llego al lugar y me baño con este auroral. Me cubro desde la planta de los pies hasta el cabello más elevado de mi cabeza.

Kind regards, dear hivers of the C/Family&Friends, it is a pleasure to write about my personal birthday event. It's Saturday, thirtieth of September, I was awakened by the early morning to breathe in the fresh air that flows with the dawn, loaded with blooming orange colours with pink hues that seem to have the rosy hue of a pomegranate fruit. My mouth waters. I quickly wash up to receive the gift of the rising sun. I step out onto the street, nimbly, walking towards the lagoon. I can't miss this spectacle of natural life where I live. I arrive at the place and bathe in this auroral. I cover myself from the soles of my feet to the highest hair on my head.

Es mi cumpleaños. Me doy mi primer regalo. El auroral está en mi eterna conexión espiritual. Retorno a la casa. Me inserto en la ducha y me preparo una arepa asada con linaza afrecho, una infusión de orégano, paja e´ té, albahaca y toronjil. Listo. Preparado para dar una vuelta por el sector comercial de la ciudad de Caicara del Orinoco. Me dejo fluir, sin ataduras de ningún tipo, no tengo planes rutinarios de celebración. Tengo la sensibilidad espiritual que voy a disfrutar grandes momentos en mi día de cumpleaños. Recibo las primeras felicitaciones de mis hijas, @iritere y @soy-laloreto, son felicitaciones que emocionan mi alama de padre.

It is my birthday. I give myself my first gift. The auroral is in my eternal spiritual connection. I return to the house. I insert myself in the shower and prepare a roasted arepa with flaxseed bran, an infusion of oregano, tea straw, basil and lemon balm. I'm ready. Ready to take a stroll through the commercial sector of the city of Caicara del Orinoco. I let myself flow, without ties of any kind, I have no routine plans of celebration. I have the spiritual sensibility that I am going to enjoy great moments on my birthday. I receive the first congratulations from my daughters, @iritere and @soy-laloreto, they are congratulations that thrill my father's soul.

Tengo un compromiso para las tres de la tarde con un encuentro poético. Mi plan de visitas al río Orinoco, planificado de lunes a viernes, lo tengo que modificar porque el evento de hoy es sábado. Ese es otro regalo que me voy a dar, tengo leer poesía dedicada al río. Se lo dedico a mi río.

I have an appointment for three o'clock in the afternoon with a poetry meeting. My plan to visit the Orinoco River, planned from Monday to Friday, has to be modified because today's event is on Saturday. That's another gift I'm going to give myself, I have to read poetry dedicated to the river. I dedicate it to my river.

Al retornar, a mis aposentos tengo pautado almorzar en el restaurante “Pollos Víctor”. Penetro el sitio, me siento en la mesa, hago el pedido y me traen pollo asado con los contornos respectivos. Decido acompañarlo con agua, porque estoy evitando los refrescos. Es espléndido, alimentarse con el sabor del pollo asado con una deliciosa salsa con el sabor venezolano. Es un placer, este episodio de mi cumpleaños, estoy satisfecho. Le doy las gracias a los dueños y empleados por el manjar que consumo. Me traslado hasta mi casa para dejar que se reduzca el inclemente calor que se desarrolla en el centro geográfico de Venezuela, en pleno ambiente del macizo guayanés.

When I return to my quarters, I am scheduled to have lunch at the restaurant "Chickens Victor". I enter the place, sit down at the table, place my order, and they bring me roast chicken with the respective contours. I decide to accompany it with water, because I am avoiding soft drinks. It is splendid, feeding on the taste of roast chicken with a delicious sauce with the Venezuelan flavour. It is a pleasure, this episode of my birthday, I am satisfied. I thank the owners and employees for the delicacy I consume. I move to my house to let the inclement heat that develops in the geographical centre of Venezuela, in the middle of the Guayana massif, subside.

En mi casa, reposo un rato en mi cuarto. Me desarticulo de la cama y me ducho rápidamente para salir al evento poético en la orilla del Orinoco. Realizo mi presentación poética, es mi regalo de cumpleaños. Recibo apreciables felicitaciones por mi cumpleaños. Bajo hasta el río tomo una docena de muestras fotográficas. Finaliza esta programación y quedo con una sequedad en mi garganta y me traslado de emergencia hasta el restaurante turístico “Rumbos del Orinoco”; estoy disecándome internamente, en mi organismo. En la ruta emprendida, disfruto del atardecer, me topo con un expendio de bebidas refrescantes, solicito una cerveza fría. Me la entregan y la engullo de un solo trago, como un sediento y calmado cumpleañero.

At home, I rest for a while in my room. I get out of bed and take a quick shower to go out to the poetry event on the banks of the Orinoco. I make my poetic presentation, it's my birthday present. I receive appreciative congratulations for my birthday. I go down to the river and take a dozen photographs. At the end of this programme, I am left with a dryness in my throat, and I am transferred in emergency to the tourist restaurant "Rumbos del Orinoco"; I am dissecting myself internally in my organism. On my way, enjoying the sunset, I come across a refreshment stand and ask for a cold beer. They hand it to me and I gulp it down in one gulp, like a thirsty and calm birthday boy.

Me despido, dándole las gracias a la señorita que atiende gentilmente el establecimiento para calmar los ímpetus de este sediento cumpleañeros. A buen paso, extasiado por el crepúsculo, llego al lugar emprendido, me siento en una mesa, oteo el río, busco el atardecer, las sombras de la noche son dueñas de las aguas del hermoso torrente. Solicito, amablemente, la primera cerveza, la engullo con rápido placer en tres precisos y rápidos tragos, necesito otra cerveza, mi fiesta es individual de cumpleaños, es con cerveza. No tengo pastel, ni velas, ni canciones de cumpleaños. En paz y bondadosamente solicito la otra cerveza. Cuento tres lanzamientos al cachet de mi garganta. Me calma la despiadada sed con esta entrega de cervezas que me relajan y pongo en orden mi felicidad interna. Recibo un grato mensaje de mi hijo Hiram José, desde la hermana república de Brasil.

I say goodbye, thanking the young lady who kindly attends the establishment to calm the thirsty birthday boy. At a good pace, enraptured by the twilight, I arrive at the place I have chosen, I sit down at a table, I glance at the river, I look for the sunset, the shadows of the night are masters of the waters of the beautiful torrent. I ask, politely, for the first beer, I gulp it with quick pleasure in three precise and quick gulps, I need another beer, my party is an individual birthday party, it's with beer. I have no cake, no candles, no birthday songs. Peacefully and kindly, I request the other beer. I count three shots to the cachet of my throat. I quench my merciless thirst with this delivery of beers that relaxes me and puts my inner happiness in order. I receive a welcome message from my son, Hiram José, from the sister republic of Brazil.

Me mudo de la mesa y me acerco a compartir con el administrador del Parador. A parece como un celaje, mi amigo y chofer de viaje “Neneito”, una cerveza para mi amigo y brindo por mi cumpleaños.

I move from the table and go over to share with the manager of the Parador. It looks like a celaje, my friend and travel driver "Neneito", a beer for my friend and a toast to my birthday.

Aprovecho acompañarlo hasta el centro de la ciudad para ver cómo está mi fluido espiritual. Me quedo en donde el libanés, Sair, un pequeño bodegón, me tomo dos cervezas. Cuento ocho que van injeridas con buen gusto, en total. En el lugar se ponen a conversar de política y evado todo lo referente porque no estoy interesado en esos debates estériles e incoherentes. Les pido perdón porque estoy feliz de cumplir setenta años.

I take the opportunity to accompany him to the city centre to see how my spiritual fluid is. I stay at the Lebanese man's place, Sair, a small tavern, and drink two beers. I count eight that are tastefully grafted, in total. They start talking about politics and I avoid everything because I'm not interested in these sterile and incoherent debates. I apologise because I am happy to be seventy years old.

Salgo del bodegón, con la idea de trasladarme donde mi amiga Lida, me consigo con mi amiga Yenica y su hija. Me dicen que su hermana Yindira está hospitalizada con una otitis. Tengo que acompañarlas porque a Yenica y Yindira, les declare mi amistad. Ellas saben que soy serio en la amistad. Entro al centro hospitalario y llegamos donde Yindira. Yenica, le informa que estoy cumpliendo años.-Estás tomado. Me dice con una carcajada. -No tienes torta. Me pregunté, -No, yo quiero es comer quesillo. Le respondo. Cuando salga de aquí te hago el quesillo. Me asegura con sus ojos de felicidad. A ella, le están aplicando tratamiento porque tiene el oído inflamado. Madre e hija, se quedan acompañar durante la noche a Yindira. Yo me retiro.

I leave the still life, with the idea of going to my friend Lida's, and I meet up with my friend Yenica and her daughter. They tell me that her sister Yindira is hospitalised with otitis. I have to accompany them because Yenica and Yindira, I declare my friendship. They know that I am serious about friendship. I enter the hospital and go to Yindira. Yenica informs her that I'm having a birthday. -You're drunk. She tells me with a laugh. -You don't have a cake. I asked myself, -No, I want to eat quesillo. I reply. When I get out of here, I'll make you quesillo. She assures me with her happy eyes. She is being treated because her ear is inflamed. Mother and daughter stay with Yindira for the night. I leave.

Me retiro del hospital rumbo a mi casa porque no voy a inventar cosas estrafalarias. Entro a un bodegón y solicito de manera culta una cerveza fría, para sumar la novena entrada a mi calmada garganta. La disfruto y mi pido mi décima cerveza para cerrar este episodio y trasladarme hasta la casa que está cerca del lugar. Mañana es otro día. Las felicitaciones que recibo por las redes sociales son numerosas, mis amistades tienen encendido mi WhatsApp y el Facebook.

I'm leaving the hospital and heading home because I'm not going to make up outlandish things. I go into a still life and order a cold beer in a cultured manner, to add the ninth entry to my calm throat. I enjoy it and order my tenth beer to close this episode and move to the house near the place. Tomorrow is another day. The congratulations I receive on social media are numerous, my friends have my WhatsApp and Facebook on.

Es domingo primero de octubre, me despierto de madrugada. Miro el reflejo del auroral matutino, espero de temprano al mecánico que viene a realizar un mantenimiento al aire acondicionado para tener mi calidad de vida en equilibrio en mi aposento. Llega, efectúa el cambio de una pieza y se va alegre con dinero en mano. Le doy las gracias porque mantengo esta fluida amistad. Él, se marcha velozmente. Me aseo y salgo a dar una vuelta rápida. Tengo invitaciones de almuerzos para continuar celebrando mi cumpleaños.

It's Sunday, the first of October, I wake up at dawn. I look at the reflection of the morning sunrise, I wait early for the mechanic who comes to service the air conditioning to keep my quality of life in balance in my room. He arrives, carries out the replacement of a part and leaves happily with money in hand. I thank him because I maintain this fluid friendship. He leaves quickly. I wash up and go for a quick walk. I have lunch invitations to continue celebrating my birthday.

Primer encuentro, es con mis amistades, Marina y Luis, cachapa de maíz con pollo guisado con jugo de papelón y naranja. Que tal. Excelente banquete. Conversamos amable y espiritualmente de trascendencia humana, abordando con seriedad mi acercamiento a su amistad. Recordé que ellos fueron amigos de mis padres.

First meeting, is with my friends, Marina and Luis, cachapa de maíz with chicken stew with paprika and orange juice. How about that. Excellent banquet. We chatted kindly and spiritually about human transcendence, seriously addressing my approach to their friendship. I remembered that they were friends of my parents.

Agradecido de su bondad, me retiro y visito a mi prima hermana Lidia con su esposo Manuel, enseguida pusieron sobre su mesa un espagueti con una salsa de atún con vegetales. Una maravilla de agasajo familiar. Conversamos familiar y amigablemente, mejorando y ampliando mi radio de acción familiar. Un fabuloso domingo con el que cierro mi feliz cumpleaños entre amigos y familiares. Siento emocionado que mi salud mental tiene fortaleza, porque mi amor propio tiene un equilibrio sustentado en la paz, el amor y el bienestar que vivo con mis semejantes.

Grateful for their kindness, I retired and visited my cousin sister Lidia with her husband Manuel, immediately they put on their table a spaghetti with a tuna sauce with vegetables. A marvellous family feasts. We chatted in a familiar and friendly way, improving and widening my family radius of action. A fabulous Sunday with which I close my happy birthday among friends and family. I feel excited that my mental health is strong, because my self-esteem is balanced by the peace, love, and well-being I experience with my fellow human beings.
