Hola a todos en Family & Friends, hace pocos dias descubrí ésta comunidad asi que ésta será mi primer publicación aquí! éste sabado fue el cumpleaños de la esposa de mi abuelo, y aniversario de su casamiento que fue ya hace 4 años! asi que preparamos un festejo entre familia y amigos para conmemorar ambas fechas

The first thing I did was make myself more beautiful than I already am (haha) doing a makeup according to the outfit I chose, which was a beautiful dress with colored flowers, so I used pink shadows and a pronounced outline

Lo primero que hice fue ponerme mas hermosa de lo que ya soy (jaja) haciendome un makeup acorde al outfit que elegí, que fue un hermoso vestido con flores de colores, asi que utilicé sombras rosadas y un pronunciado delineado

My grandfather and the birthday girl were in charge of dinner, and both my godmother and I would be in charge of buying the important thing: alcohol to get drunk. We bought several bottles of fernet, vodka, wine, champagne, snacks like aperol and cinzano, and many many cans of beer. So we put everything on a bar in the room and each guest was free to pour whatever drink they wanted.

Mi abuelo y la cumpleañera se encargaban de la cena, y tanto mi madrina como yo seriamos las encargadas de comprar lo importante: alcohol para emborracharnos. Compramos varias botellas de fernet, vodka, vino, champagne, aperitivos como aperol y cinzano, y muchas muchas latas de cerveza. Asi que colocamos todo en una barra del salon y cada invitado era libre de servirse el trago que quisiera.

The birthday was celebrated in a large multi-purpose room, we placed the tables in this way so that we could chat with each other but we did not take into account that two groups would be formed haha ​​but the birthday girl would be in charge of integrating everyone so that it would be a true social event. The youngest of us were my cousins, my brother with his girlfriend, my friend Laura and I, who were chatting and drinking with each other. Meanwhile the older adults chatted about their things.

El cumpleaños se festejó en un gran salon multiespacios, colocamos las mesas de esta forma para que charlemos entre todos pero no tuvimos en cuenta que se armarian dos grupos jaja pero la cumpleañera se encargaria de integrar a todos para que sea un verdadero evento social. Los mas jovenes nos dedicamos eramos mis primos, mi hermano con su novia, mi amiga Laura y yo, que estuvimos charlando y bebiendo entre nosotros. Mientras tanto los adultos mayores charlaban de sus cosas.

Fortunately, as the hours passed, the party began to become even more and more fun, when we finished dinner we moved the tables and chairs a little to make room for a dance floor! old cumbias, rock & roll and even traditional music from Spain began to play! and absolutely everything was danced haha ​​it was super fun!

Afortunadamente con el paso de las horas la fiesta se comenzaba a volver aun mas y mas divertida, cuando terminamos de cenar corrimos un poco las mesas y sillas para dejar lugar para una pista de baile! comenzaron a sonar cumbias viejas, rock & roll e incluso musica tradicional de españa! y absolutamente todo se bailó jaja fue super divertido!

So we took a break, before 00 at night, to blow out the candles on the cake. It was a very emotional moment because they suffered a fire in their house last year and lost everything.... so this last time it was difficult moving house and re-arranging their lives. It is terrible to have such a great misfortune and even more so when you are an older adult because they lost all the memories of their lives in that fire, and thanks to everyone's help they now have a place to live because they had nowhere to sleep. Thank God they are good people who surround themselves with people with great hearts who always came to their aid and are there in hard times. So while we sang, Beatriz cried and thanked all of us for being there and putting so much effort into making this party so beautiful.

Entonces hicimos una pausa, antes de las 00 de la noche, para soplar las velas del pastel. Fue un momento muy emotivo porque ellos sufrieron un incendio en su casa el año pasado y perdieron todo.... asi que este ultimo tiempo fue dificil mudandose de casa y volviendo a acomodar sus vidas. Es terrible tener una desgracia tan grande y aun mas cuando eres un adulto mayor porque perdieron todas las memorias de su vida en ese incendio, y gracias a la ayuda de todos ahora tienen donde vivir porque no tenian donde dormir. Gracias a Dios son buenas personas que se rodeean de personas de gran corazon que siempre acudieron a su ayuda y estan en los momentos duros. Asi que mientras cantabamos Beatriz lloraba y nos agradecia a todos por estar y poner tanto esfuerzo en que esta fiesta sea bien bonita

The last photo I took of the birthday was this one where my grandfather and Beatriz hug each other in the middle of tears. They are both very strong, I admire them for overcoming that terrible moment, and I am grateful that I did not lose them that terrible day. I appreciate having my whole family together and for having celebrated this birthday and wedding anniversary all together! it was a wonderful night! very funny, emotional, we ate well, we drank well. We all meet again after a long time and I hope that the next gathering will be soon!

La ultima foto que tomé del cumpleaños fue ésta donde mi abuelo y Beatriz se abrazan en medio del llanto. Ambos son muy fuertes, los admiro por sobrepasar ese terrible momento, y agradezco no haberlos perdido ese terrible dia. Agradezco tener a toda mi familia unida y por haber celebrado este cumpleaños y aniversario de casamiento todos juntos! fue una maravillosa noche! muy divertida, emotiva, comimos rico, bebimos rico. Nos reencontramos todos despues de mucho y espero que la proxima juntada sea pronto!
