Hoy se recibieron todos los estudiantes de mi escuela, aunque no asistieron en su totalidad los que si lo hicieron estaban muy felices, en cada uno de sus rostros se evidenciaba la emoción de estar de vuelta a su escuela.

Empezando el año escolar ya para los profesores comenzaron las amenazas, este año nuestro sueldo es menor que el año escolar pasado, estamos cobrando 6,9$ de manera quincenal, la ministra de educación dice que nuestro sueldo no se va a aumentar, pero que estamos obligados a asistir los 5 días de la semana a la escuela a cumplir un horario completo, cuando la realidad es que el sueldo no alcanza para pagar ni siquiera el pasaje para trasladarnos a nuestra sitio laboral.

Sin embargo debo pensar en mis hijos, así que debo ocuparme en buscar otro trabajo, porque es imposible seguir con ese sueldo.

Agradezco a Dios por haberme dado la oportunidad de ejercer mi carrera, espero todo se solucione a nivel de sueldo para los profesores del país, ya que mi escuela se quedará sin psicólogo y sin 2 profesoras más, debido a que no pueden pagar el monto del pasaje, por ende van a gestionar un traslado a una escuela cerca de sus casa, esto es grave, puesto que mis estudiantes se quedan sin atención psicológica y tendrán que pagar a nivel privado cuando necesiten un informe.

Este año me tocaron niños de 10 y 11 años de edad, trabajaremos con recetas para preparar galletas, panes y todo lo derivado de la panificación, esto debido a que ese nuestro proyecto macro en la escuela y de ese proyecto se derivan los proyectos de cada salón.

Pese a todo eso, pensando en nuestros estudiantes con condiciones especiales, hicimos guardias para asistir y atenderlos, comenzamos está semana con su recibimiento, realizando actividades deportivas y recreativas.

Contamos con un profesor de Educación física, quien es un excelente profesional en el área de educación especial, se ha preparado constantemente para aplicar actividades recreativas y deportivas adoptadas a las necesidades, intereses y condiciones de cada uno de nuestros estudiantes.

Está semana se realizará una reunión con los representantes para tocar el tema del transporte, su ruta y el costo del pasaje, este último que tenga un monto que los representantes puedan cancelar para que los niños no falten y a su vez para hacerle al transporte el debido mantenimiento.

Hoy asistieron muchos estudiantes nuevos, que estaban emocionados por ver las actividades deportivas, otros que por su condición estaban muy alterados ya que era primera vez que asistían a una escuela.

Por ser un instituto de educación especial, parte de nuestra población son estudiante con la condición de autismo, para quien conoce del tema se sabe que para este tipo de condición se debe llevar una rutina estructurada, para que el estudiante obtenga un avance en su conducta y en su aprendizaje, sin embargo es difícil trabajarlo con solamente 2 días a la semana ya que la rutina no se cumple.

Cómo todos los años, esperamos contar con el apoyo de los padres, en cada una de las actividades realizada con sus representados, para evidenciar de mejor manera el avance de cada uno de ellos.

Today all the students of my school were received, although not all of them attended, those who did were very happy, in each of their faces was evident the excitement of being back to their school.

This year our salary is lower than last school year, we are receiving $6.9 every two weeks, the Minister of Education says that our salary will not be increased, but we are obliged to attend school 5 days a week to fulfill a full schedule, when the reality is that the salary is not enough to pay even the bus fare to go to our place of work.

However, I have to think about my children, so I have to look for another job, because it is impossible to continue with this salary.

I thank God for having given me the opportunity to practice my career, I hope everything is solved at the level of salary for teachers in the country, since my school will be left without a psychologist and without 2 more teachers, because they can not pay the amount of the passage, therefore they will manage a transfer to a school near their home, this is serious, since my students are left without psychological care and will have to pay privately when they need a report.

This year my students are 10 and 11 years old, we will work with recipes to prepare cookies, breads and everything derived from baking, this because that is our macro project in the school and from that project the projects of each classroom are derived.

In spite of all this, thinking of our students with special conditions, we made guards to assist and attend them, we started this week with their reception, carrying out sports and recreational activities.

We have a Physical Education teacher, who is an excellent professional in the area of special education, who has constantly prepared himself to apply recreational and sports activities adapted to the needs, interests and conditions of each of our students.

This week a meeting will be held with the representatives to discuss the issue of transportation, its route and the cost of the ticket, the latter to have an amount that the representatives can cancel so that the children do not miss and in turn to make the transport the proper maintenance.

Today many new students attended, who were excited to see the sports activities, others who because of their condition were very upset since it was the first time they attended a school.

Being a special education institute, part of our population are students with the condition of autism, for those who know the subject, it is known that for this type of condition a structured routine must be carried out, so that the student obtains an advance in their behavior and learning, however it is difficult to work with only 2 days a week since the routine is not fulfilled.

As every year, we hope to have the support of parents, in each of the activities carried out with their children, to better demonstrate the progress of each one of them.
