THE 3 MOST EMOTIVE SURPRISES OF MY LIFE

Con cada una de las sorpresas que les vengo a relatar, presente una carga de emociones distintas en cada una y es que, cómo sorpresa al fin no esperaba que ninguna de ellas llegara a mi vida, sin embargo, hoy en día, agradezco a Dios de que así haya Sido y más que eso de poderla disfrutar al máximo en el momento que se dió.

Pues le cuento que mi primera sorpresa fue en mi graduación de secundaria a mis 16 años, recuerdo que, exactamente el 14 de julio del año 2003, un sábado específicamente, estaba estudiando para presentar un examen de inglés en la universidad un día después, es de ir, el domingo, cuando empecé con un dolor de vientre, al principio pensé que era parte de mis días de menstruación, pero el dolor fue aumentando cada vez más, cuando le comento a mi mamá, ella me dice que de seguir dicho dolor le avise para sacarme al médico, pues así fue, ya cuando el dolor estaba bastante fuerte decidimos salir, mayor sorpresa que, entre exámenes y valoraciones médicas, me diagnostican APENDICITIS.

Por supuesto había que operar de manera inmediata, cómo adolescente al fin, solo me preocupaba el examen de la universidad que era el día siguiente y sobretodo la fiesta de graduación que, en aquel entonces, eran en 3 semanas.

Para aquel momento mi mamá me había ofrecido mi anillo de graduación, y me había enseñado un modelo, bello, decía bachiller en Ciencias, con el escudo, mis letras talladas y una piedra color rojo granate espectacular, yo estaba emocionada por mi anillo, ya que en ocasiones anteriores mi mamá se lo había regalado a mi prima, a otra sobrina y ahora venía mi turno, cómo ella no me mencionó más la idea del anillo, y al ver todo el gasto que tuvo por la operación en la clínica y los medicamentos post operatorios, le comenté que ya no quería el anillo de graduación, ella con cara de tristeza acepto, dijo que estaba bien y que yo tenía razón, el gasto de dinero fue grande.

Pues adivinen qué???? SORPRESA! el día de la graduación, mi mamá me llegó por detrás y sin decir ninguna palabra me entrego mi anillo en un hermoso estuche color azul, no hablé, solo lloré, mi anillo era hermoso, tal cual ella me lo había enseñado y descrito, fue una sorpresa agradable y significativa para mí.

Mi segunda y maravillosa sorpresa fue el día de mi boda; cuando estábamos en los preparativos de la misma, logramos contratar un grupo de música en vivo, mi suegra quería saber quiénes eran y estaba pendiente de llamarlos, siempre nos hizo saber que era para una actividad de la iglesia donde ella asistía, por ende le reste importancia y le di la tarjeta de el grupo, para ese entonces ella aunque feliz porque se casaba su hijo mayor, estaba pasando por un proceso nada fácil de cáncer de mama, al salir de la iglesia, ya casados, y al llegar a la recepción donde se celebró el matrimonio, SORPRESA! cuando entramos mi suegra tenía preparada la canción BENDITA LA LUZ, del grupo maná , que supuestamente iba a cantar el grupo de música, ella la entonó y nos la dedicó, realmente fue algo que no nos esperábamos y no probamos de llorar por tan linda sorpresa, y aunque ya no esté físicamente con nosotros ese recuerdo siempre estará en mi.

Y la tercera y más reciente sorpresa fue, el embarazo de mis gemelas, no fue fácil asimilar que había engordado y que los pantalones me costaba cerrarlos, en ese momento mi hijos más pequeños tenía 1 año recién cumplido, yo daba lactancia materna, no presentaba síntomas de embarazo por ninguna parte, cuando asistí al médico, este me dice que tengo 6 meses de embarazo y que en mi vientre estaban una gemelas, actualmente digo que gracias a Dios en ese momento estaba acostada, creo que la tensión se me bajo porque me empecé a sentir mal, realmente en ese momento no sabía que hacer.

Todo lo que se planificar en un embarazo, que dura 9 meses aproximadamente yo lo tenía que planificar en 3 meses y aparte de eso el doble, porque venían 2, fue tanto el shock, que no tuve tiempo de pensar en sus nombres, no tengo fotos de ese embarazo, creo que no me dió tiempo de asimilarlo, prácticamente en un abrir y cerrar de ojos tenía conmigo 2 nenitas muy pequeñas que salieron de mí y un bebé de un año que me esperaba en casa, esto fue una VERDADERA SORPRESA.

With each one of the surprises that I come to tell you, I present a load of different emotions in each one and that is, how surprising at last I did not expect any of them to come into my life, however, today, I thank God that it was so and more than that of being able to enjoy it to the fullest at the moment it happened.

Well, I'll tell you that my first surprise was when I graduated from high school at the age of 16. I remember that, exactly on July 14, 2003, one Saturday specifically, I was studying to take an English exam at the university one day later, that's to go, on Sunday, when I started with a stomach ache, at first I thought it was part of my menstruation days, but the pain was increasing more and more, when I tell my mom, she tells me that if I continue said pain I told him to take me to the doctor, as it was, and when the pain was quite strong we decided to leave, a greater surprise that, between exams and medical assessments, I was diagnosed with APPENDICITIS.

Of course, I had to operate immediately, as a teenager at last, I was only worried about the university exam that was the next day and especially the graduation party that, at that time, was in 3 weeks.

By that time my mom had offered me my class ring, and had shown me a model, beautiful, it said Bachelor of Science, with the shield, my carved letters and a spectacular garnet red stone, I was excited about my ring, because that on previous occasions my mother had given it to my cousin, to another niece and now it was my turn, how she did not mention the idea of the ring to me anymore, and seeing all the expense she had for the operation in the clinic and the post-operative medications, I told her that I no longer wanted the graduation ring, she accepted with a sad face, she said that it was fine and that I was right, the expense of money was great.

Well guess what???? SURPRISE! On graduation day, my mom came up to me from behind and without saying a word she handed me my ring in a beautiful blue box, I didn't speak, I just cried, my ring was beautiful, just as she had shown and described it to me, it was a pleasant and significant surprise for me.

My second wonderful surprise was my wedding day; when we were preparing for it, we managed to hire a live music group, my mother-in-law wanted to know who they were and she was waiting to call them, she always let us know that it was for a church activity where she attended, therefore it subtracted importance and I gave her the group's card, by then she, although happy because her eldest son was getting married, was going through a not easy process of breast cancer, when she left the church, already married, and when she arrived at the reception where the marriage took place, SURPRISE! When we entered, my mother-in-law had prepared the song BLESSED THE LIGHT, by the maná group, which the music group was supposed to sing, she sang it and dedicated it to us, it was really something we did not expect and we did not try to cry for such a beautiful surprise , and although he is no longer physically with us, that memory will always be in me.

And the third and most recent surprise was the pregnancy of my twins, it was not easy to assimilate that I had gained weight and that it was hard for me to close my pants, at that time my youngest son was just 1 year old, I was breastfeeding, I did not have no pregnancy symptoms anywhere, when I went to the doctor, he tells me that I am 6 months pregnant and that there were twins in my womb, now I say that thank God at that moment I was lying down, I think the tension dropped because I started to feel bad, really at that moment I didn't know what to do.

Everything that is planned in a pregnancy, which lasts approximately 9 months, I had to plan in 3 months and apart from that double, because there were 2, it was such a shock that I didn't have time to think about their names, I don't have photos of that pregnancy, I don't think I had time to assimilate it, practically in the blink of an eye I had 2 very small girls with me that came out of me and a one-year-old baby who was waiting for me at home, this was a REAL SURPRISE.
