ONE OF THE TWINS WAS INJURED
Resulta que el domingo , a eso de las 7:00 de la noche la gemelas estaban jugando juntas, corrían de un lado para el otro, y por más que les decía que no lo hicieran ellas seguían, muchas veces se me olvida que la energía de los niños es alta y que definitivamente les encanta divertirse.
También olvido que por más que los cuide el peligro siempre va a estar latente y este día no fue la excepción, ellas corrían y Georgette se enredo con sus propios pies, provocando un caída que por la velocidad con la que venía se desplazó y la mano de ella fue quien detuvo el desplazamiento al impactar con la pared.
Inmediatamente los grito y el llanto no se hizo esperar, de verdad su mano le dolía, yo no estaba al tanto de la magnitud de su dolor, pero ella con su expresión corporal me lo hacia saber, le di a tomar un antiflamatorio para que el dolor calmara un poco y al mismo tiempo trate de entretenerla, al parecer esta combinación resultó, y una hora después aproximadamente estaba más calmada, en ese momento trato de sentarse en una silla algo alta para su tamaño, por ende requería que apoyara ambas manos, y al hacerlo pegó un grito de dolor y nuevamente comenzó a llorar.

I was not aware of the magnitude of her pain, but she let me know with her corporal expression, I gave her an anti-inflammatory to calm the pain a little and at the same time I tried to entertain her, Apparently this combination worked, and about an hour later she was calmer, at that moment she tried to sit on a chair somewhat high for her size, thus requiring her to support both hands, and when she did so she cried out in pain and again began to cry.
Ya por la hora no podía salir, me daba miedo, el centro de salud más cercano queda como a 15 minutos en carro y saluir yo sola a esa hora no era buena idea, digo sola porque no me iba a llevar a mis otros niños a exponerlos, asi que los debía dejar en casa con mi esposo, por tal motivo decidimos esperar al día siguiente, durante la noche la colocamos a dormir con nosotros, teniendo a su vez mucho cuidado de no triopezarla.
El día siguiente tempranito salimos a hacerle una placa y así llevarla de una vez al médico para que nos dijera que pasaba.
Y pues si, en la placa se evidenció una lesión.
Because of the time I could not go out, I was afraid, the nearest health center is about 15 minutes away by car and going out alone at that time was not a good idea, I say alone because I was not going to take my other children to expose them, so I had to leave them at home with my husband, for that reason we decided to wait until the next day, during the night we put her to sleep with us, being very careful not to trip her up.
The next day we went out early in the morning to take her to the doctor so he could tell us what was wrong.
And yes, the x-ray showed a lesion.
El diagnóstico fue: “fractura de tallo verde de 1/3 distal de radio izquierdo”, así nos lo hizo saber la doctora, al igual que nos dijo que debía ser inmovilizada de inmediato para prevenir una fractura peor.
Por supuesto, sin quedar otra opción salimos a comprar las vendas específica que nos mando la doctora, puesto que ya todo sabemos lo decadente que están los centros de salud en Venezuela, era específicamente “Venda de yeso Paris”
Así que después de comprarlas procedieron a colocarle lo que se llama “una férula”, para lograr inmovilizar su brazo y tratar que el hueso pueda soldar de buena manera.
The diagnosis was: "green stem fracture of the distal 1/3 of the left radius", the doctor told us so, and also told us that she should be immobilized immediately to prevent a worse fracture.
Of course, with no other option left we went out to buy the specific bandages that the doctor sent us, since we all know how decadent the health centers are in Venezuela, it was specifically "Paris plaster bandage".
So after buying them they proceeded to place what is called "a splint", to immobilize his arm and try that the bone can weld in a good way.
Después de todo el proceso, algo incómodo cabe resaltar, y con un reposo por delante ella salió con una gran sonrisa, y es que definitivamente los niños son fuertes y lo demuestran día a día.
After the whole process, which was somewhat uncomfortable, and with a rest ahead of her, she came out with a big smile on her face, because children are definitely strong and they show it day by day.
Para dormir ha sido muy incomodo pero ella se ha ido adaptando, al igual que para jugar, es increíble ver como la gemela de ella la cuida y como los demás hermanos tienen cuidado con ella, de hecho, hasta la desplazan de los juego de manera que no se lesione.
To sleep has been very uncomfortable but she has been adapting, as well as to play, it is incredible to see how her twin takes care of her and how the other siblings are careful with her, in fact, they even move her from the game so that she does not get injured.
Hasta para hacer tareas ha tenido que adaptarse, con algo de incomodidad, pero ha logrado realizar sus actividades.

El domingo la debo volver a llevar, con una nueva radiografía para ver si la fractura ha evolucionado o si hay que cambiarle la férula, espero que, para ese día todo este mejor con el favor de DIOS.
On Sunday I have to take her again, with a new x-ray to see if the fracture has evolved or if the splint has to be changed, I hope that by that day everything will be better with GOD's favor.

Amiga!! Que susto se deben haber llevado y definitivamente es lo que dices, por más cuidados que tengamos hay cosas que simplemente escapan de nuestras manos.

Hay amiga me hiciste recordar a mi hija menor cuando s fracturó la muñeca, pero el golpe fue bastante duro para solo enredarse con los pies así vendría de rápido y ahora a lidiar para que esté tranquila, gracias a Dios no fue a mayor

Amiga lo primero que te voy a decir es: Que heeeermosa está tu niña, que bellas son tus gemelitas, ya te lo había dicho, pero tenía tiempo sin ver fotografías de ellas, Dios las bendiga. Lo segundo es que lamento mucho que ella haya tenido que pasar por ese dolor y ustedes por ese susto y finalmente te digo que me encantó tu publicación por su sencillez y transparencia.
Con el favor de Dios tu bebita se recuperará muy muy pronto, para ella y para toda tu familia, muchas bendiciones
Deseo sinceramente que tu niña se recupere pronto de esa lesión, afortunadamente los niños regeneran sus huesitos más rápido que los adultos. El susto y la angustia de tener que esperar hasta la mañana debió ser desesperante, pero bueno recibió la atención y eso es lo importante. Besos virtuales a tus bebés, están bellas.
