MY BEST WEEKEND ACTIVITY [WEEK 117]
They call it "The pool" is an island in the middle of the sea, called "cayo sal", it is small, in fact it takes no more than 20 minutes to walk around it.
Every September 8 in Venezuela is celebrated the day of the Virgin Mary, under the title of La Virgen Del Valle, patron saint of fishermen, that day the island dresses up and prepares to receive the Virgin in a small church that is there, the fishermen and other devotees of her go out to pray and make various promises and requests, really for those who profess the Catholic faith is something very significant.
After welcoming the Virgin, I would go to the pool, perhaps to think, reflect or thank her and the almighty GOD, the truth is that relaxation, finding myself, listening to the soothing sound of the sea, seeing the contrast of colors and observe the wonderful nature, made that my favorite place and the one I liked the most was that, so much so that the weekend before every September 8 I longed for a whole year.
Every year we left very early from our city in a public transport rented only for the family, to get to CHICHIRIVICHE, the coastal town we had to travel about 4 hours, we went as a family, we stayed in tents during all the days we were going to spend on the island, We took turns to prepare the food, to bathe on the beach and so we enjoyed the whole day, during the night we made a bonfire in the middle of all the tents, from there came out conversations of the day, of life, of childhood, of so many things, that we all ended up laughing at every story.
I haven't been there for 10 years, there hasn't been a weekend as wonderful as that one, I hope to go again and enjoy all those moments told here.

wow very fun bathing in the sea water pool. is there a lot of fish there?
If you knew that on that side of the island there are none, on the front side there are a few but small ones, what does arrive at night is a lot of jellyfish.
Cayo Sal, I have a long time without enjoying its calm waters. It is undoubtedly a paradisiacal destination
