END OF SCHOOL YEAR PARTY FOR MY STUDENTS

Este año escolar en Venezuela se puede decir que fue algo atropellado, debido a que la mayoría de los profesores realizaron un paro general, esto ya que el sueldo que se recibe no alcanza para nada, se puede decir actualmente que, el sueldo de un profesor es de 7$ quincenal y a raíz de este salario el gremio docente decidió exigir sus derechos.

Casi un año escolar entero reclamando un sueldo que cubra más allá de las necesidades básicas de una familia promedio, sin obtener una respuesta positiva.

A pesar de lo antes mencionado, y desde mi punto de vista para no generalizar al máximo, el venezolano vive reinventándose desde cualquier punto de vista para lograr objetivos planteados, y mi escuela no es la excepción, nos tocó turnarnos para dar clases y a su vez para tener otra entrada de dinero, todo fue así hasta que llegó el fin de año escolar y como docentes empezamos a planificar la fiesta de los estudiantes.

Planificamos esto con 2 semanas de anticipación, decidimos que, Cómo en años anteriores pedimos colaboración a los padres, pero fueron pocos lo que dieron respuestas positivas, mandamos una carta a la alcaldía y a empresas privadas, ambas sin respuestas algunas, por ende decidimos que cada una de las maestras se llevará una carta y la entregará en sitios diferentes para contar con una ayuda y así poder tener algo de refrigerio para los niños.

En lo particular ya me preocupaba que los estudiantes no pudiesen tener su fiesta de fin de año, porque aparte de, que siempre le hacemos una reunión bonita, ese día unos compañeros de #Hive iban asistir a mi escuela para realizar un vídeo de ella (esto a raíz de un proyecto que se está llevando a cabo que luego les cuento 🤭🤭)

Pues realmente no tuvimos respuestas positivas de ninguna de las empresas donde solicitamos donativos, así que, empecé a colocar por los estados de mi WhatsApp si alguien nos podían donar algunas frutas, jugos o pasapalos para las fiestas de nuestros estudiantes, en eso me escribe un primo que es militar, me dice que no está seguro pero, que una de sus superiores al parecer la iban a cambiar de sitio de trabajo, pero que antes ella quería hacer una labor social, que el le iba a preguntar.

Mi mayor sorpresa fue, cuando recibí una llamada de esta señora, preguntándome dirección, fecha y hora para concretar todo para la fiesta de mis niños.

Pues el día siguiente estaba todo planificado, faltando menos de una semana para la fecha, hasta ese momento todo iba de forma buena, hasta que 2 días antes nos llamaron del sitio donde se iba a hacer la celebración, alegando que no se habían percatado que ese día había una actividad macro, por ende no iba a ser posible prestarnos el espacio, nada fácil conseguir un sitio grande, apto para 110 estudiantes especiales, más los militares que estaban encargados de la actividad.

Cuando le hicimos saber esta noticia a la militar encargada, se puso furiosa porque ya estaba todo planificado, sin embargo le hicimos entender que no era nuestra culpa, así que entre todos debíamos reinventarnos un lugar para poder celebrar el fin de año de los niños.... Y así fue, acá en La Victoria, hay un lugar llamado MONUMENTO DE LA BANDERA, subiendo la montaña, se construyó un lugar muy bonito que lo utilizan para hacer deportes, para llevar a los niños porque hay parques y para reuniones políticas, es súper seguro, siempre hay militares cuidando los y súper bello.

Pues allí se dió la fiesta, hubo sillas, mesas y toldos, música para los niños, animadores, juegos, y al final les regalaron unos juguetes espectaculares, realmente cada uno de los estudiantes estaban felices, en su cara se le reflejaba felicidad pura.

Mis compañeros de la plataforma de #Hive (@mundomanaure y Jorge) pudieron realizar su actividad sin ningún inconveniente, de hecho realizaron entrevistas a mis estudiantes, quienes estaban contentos porque según ellos iban a salir en televisión, incluso se acercó una de las niñas y le pregunto a uno de los chicos de #Hive que si le podía enseñar a tomar fotos, él con todo gusto le explicó y le dejo tomar unas fotos 🎉🎉

Definitivamente, en momentos buenos, en momentos malos, en momentos inesperados, en nuestro día a día, de no salir bien algo que ya estaba planificado, de no obtener resultados óptimos en lo que tenías pensado, no debemos decaer, debemos pensar que, cómo nosotros lo queríamos no estaba en los planes de Dios, así que, debemos reinventarnos para empezar, ¿desde cero? Puede ser, por qué no? Al final no hay nada mejor que tener éxito en un proyecto donde hayas comenzado desde cero.

This school year in Venezuela can be said to have been a bit of an outrage, due to the fact that most of the teachers went on a general strike, this because the salary received is not enough for anything, it can currently be said that, the salary of a teacher is 7$ a fortnight and as a result of this salary the teachers' union decided to demand their rights.

Almost an entire school year claiming a salary that covers more than the basic needs of an average family, without obtaining a positive response.

Despite the above mentioned, and from my point of view not to generalize to the maximum, the Venezuelan lives reinventing himself from any point of view to achieve set goals, and my school is no exception, we had to take turns to teach and in turn to have another income, everything was so until the end of the school year came and as teachers we started to plan the party for the students.

We planned this 2 weeks in advance, we decided that, as in previous years we asked parents to collaborate, but few gave positive answers, we sent a letter to the mayor's office and to private companies, both without any answers, therefore we decided that each of the teachers would take a letter and deliver it in different places to have some help and thus be able to have some snacks for the children.

In particular, I was already worried that the students could not have their end of the year party, because apart from the fact that we always make a nice meeting, that day some colleagues from #Hive were going to come to my school to make a video of it (this because of a project that is being carried out that I will tell you later 🤭🤭).

Well, we really did not have positive responses from any of the companies where we requested donations, so, I started to post on my WhatsApp statuses if someone could donate some fruits, juices or snacks for the parties of our students, in that moment a cousin who is in the military writes me, he tells me that he is not sure but, that one of his superiors apparently was going to change her job, but that before she wanted to do a social work, that he was going to ask her.

My biggest surprise was when I received a call from this lady, asking me for the address, date and time to arrange everything for my children's party.

Well, the next day everything was planned, less than a week before the date, until that moment everything was going well, until 2 days before they called us from the place where the celebration was going to be held, claiming that they had not realized that that day there was a macro activity, therefore it would not be possible to lend us the space, not easy to get a large site, suitable for 110 special students, plus the military who were in charge of the activity.

When we told this news to the military woman in charge, she was furious because everything was already planned, however we made her understand that it was not our fault, so together we had to reinvent a place to celebrate the end of the year for the children .... And so it was, here in La Victoria, there is a place called MONUMENTO DE LA BANDERA, up the mountain, they built a very nice place that is used for sports, to take the children because there are parks and for political meetings, it is super safe, there are always military taking care of them and super beautiful.

Well there was the party, there were chairs, tables and awnings, music for the children, entertainers, games, and at the end they gave them some spectacular toys, really each of the students were happy, in his face was reflected pure happiness.

My colleagues from the #Hive platform (@mundomanaure y Jorge) were able to carry out their activity without any inconvenience, in fact they conducted interviews with my students, who were happy because according to them they were going to be on television, even one of the girls approached and asked one of the #Hive guys if he could teach her how to take pictures, he gladly explained and let her take some pictures 🎉🎉.

Definitely, in good times, in bad times, in unexpected moments, in our day to day, of not going well something that was already planned, of not getting optimal results in what you had in mind, we must not decay, we must think that, how we wanted it was not in God's plans, so, we must reinvent ourselves to start, from scratch? Maybe, why not? In the end there is nothing better than succeeding in a project where you have started from scratch.
