I do believe music is advancing tho compared to the life of the old days where you would have the creepy sound in music and as you can see, softwares are created which is also an advance in some aspect of music also.. the acapella style you said, tho it's true tho because you can't hide your voice with the acapella style that's where your real you will surface.. technology still has it all because with technology advancement we have the auto tune and other things like that to produce a more advanced sound quality
