Hello friends of hive, it's had really been a great time here on hive and i have been learning more about the hive community as a whole. On today's note, I shall be talking briefly about my country Nigeria. Nigeria is a country blessed with a lot of natural resources and minerals which they use to make money and enrich their pockets and also they are also bless with fertile land which they used for agriculture and for cultivating food for the country to live on.

Nigeria was classified out for different people and ethnic groups living differently from one another. They live together in a country, trade together, have the same religion and usually travel around the world to see the the way other people does or behaves in their own land like making adventure round the world. This made the foreigners come across with the people of Africa Nigerian especially.

According to the Berlin conference in the 18th century, Nigeria was divided amongst the colonial powers. The people referred to as the British are the Germans, the French, the British, the Portuguese, the Spanish and many more. The British has an influence on the direct territories of Nigeria. Nigeria has different culture, tribes and ethnics which are of varieties. We have the main type of tribe which are the Hausa, the Igbo, and the Yoruba. Under this tribe there are different subdivision under them which each tribe emanate from and has its own culture and norms. There are also different languages in Nigeria but the official language in Nigeria is English. Nigeria was amalgamated by sir lord Lugard which the the entities are three in numbers which are the southern protectorates, northern protectorates of Nigeria and also the Lagos colony.

This happened in the year 1914 during the regime of lord luggard. Since Nigeria has been amalgamated, Nigeria has been under the control of the British colonial which they rule the Nigerians and dominate authority over them. This has always been the same till the 1960 when they fought for their freedom by gaining their independence. Following this, the Britain rule the country Nigeria for many years as a political parliament for over 46 years. And then, in the year 1963, Nigeria became a republican state on its own which they no longer ruler under the influence of any government and then they got a new leader which they elected to power to oversee the affairs of the country.

In 1960,when Nigeria got her independence under the government of Dr Nnamdi Azikwe which he became the first governor general of the nation. During this time, Nigeria got her national flag raised at Tafawa Balewa square in Lagos. Nigeria broke her diplomatic relationship with the french country (France) as a result of the France third atomic bomb launched in sahara on the 5th of January 1961. This is a little about my county Nigeria I would like to share.

Nice write up, it’s sad that as promising as Nigeria was, it’s not as it used to be.

Good work. This part is confusing though, could you please clarify what it means?
