In the Spanish daily Sport, Luis Suarez advises his former teammate Xavi to stay away from the coaching job in Barcelona.

He is smart and knows the level of difficulty in the club. He has to wait for the right moment. He has friends at the club that he would have to make decisions about and it will be difficult, says the striker, who switched from FC Barcelona to Atletico Madrid in 2019.

Ronald Koeman has come under tremendous pressure in recent weeks, but has defended himself by saying that the player material is not to the usual FC Barcelona level. And with the statement, the Uruguayan striker is in the line where the Catalan big club is not an attractive job at the moment. Striker further says that there is allegedly a war going on in Barcelona between Ronald Koeman and President Joan Laporta, which is damaging the team.

Earlier on Thursday, it emerged that Saturday's big match between Luis Suarez 'Atletico Madrid and FC Barcelona could be the Dutch coach's last.
