MY FATHER RAPED HER.

What should I do? Can I report to the authorities?

Bimbo (not her real name) always comes to wait for me so that we can go to school together.

On that fateful day, She came to my house for some assignments and I went to the market to get food. I've been in charge of running the kitchen as the only female since my Mum died. My younger brother is only capable of light household duties.

When I got home I saw bimbo lying on the bed in my room, sobbing, tattered and distraught and I asked what had happened?

Bimbo wouldn't speak to me, at that moment I thought maybe her boyfriend had broken her heart or maybe she's lost a member of her family, I pleaded with bimbo to tell me so I'll know how to console her.

For over 30minutes she didn't say anything and when she finally did what I heard was ’Your Father's I was confused and at that point tear filled up her eyes, she didn't want to tell me cause she knows how bad it would hurt but I insisted and she told me(your father raped me).

It sounded like a joke but then I was already boiling like a water forgotten on fire, I asked again what do you mean my father?

She said after we got home, she finished her chores early as usual and came around, my dad was the only person in the house so since everyone is familiar with each other and bimbo is a nice and good girl my dad let her in and took her to my room to wait for me.

After a while he came to check up on her and at that point her started throwing questions on her.

"Bimbo do you know your a beautiful young girl? I mean you really caught my attention and I've been seeing you around for a while now with me daughter, how are you and do you have any boyfriends?"

Some I answered and others I ignored and we talked about other things and things were going well untill he offered me something to drink, since it's your house and he's your dad I took it a slept off after some minutes he took advantage of me.

At that point I left Bimbo in my room and headed straight to my father's room on getting there my dad started pleading with me to forgive him; that he became distracted, he used my deceased mother as an excuse and lots of other reasons that made him do it.

but deep down I couldn't forgive him for what he had done, how was bimbo's family react if they find out? I urged him to take us to the nearest hospital for some check up first and when we got back home we had to discuss how this went
