Domingo de cota mil / Sunday of "cota mil" / This is my entry for the #monomad challenge (ELIMINATORY FACTOR)
La Avenida Boyacá, mejor conocida como la Cota Mil (por su elevación de 1000 msnm), está ubicada al norte de nuestra ciudad capital, Caracas, a los pies del parque nacional Waraira Repano (El Ávila) y recorre una gran parte de la ciudad desde el centro hacia el este en sentido Oeste-Este. Tiene una longitud aproximada de 14,5 km.
Todos los domingos se cierra de 6am a 1pm para así disfrutar de un espacio para la práctica de deportes, el esparcimiento y la recreación, además de disfrutar de la maravillosa vista de nuestra ciudad.
Es un paseo 100% recomendado.
Boyacá Avenue, better known as the Cota Mil (due to its elevation of 1000 meters above sea level), is located north of our capital city, Caracas, at the foot of Waraira Repano National Park (El Ávila) and runs through a large part of the city from downtown to the east in a west-east direction. It has an approximate length of 14.5 km.
Every Sunday it is closed from 6am to 1pm in order to enjoy a space for sports, leisure and recreation, as well as enjoying the wonderful view of our city.
It is a 100% recommended walk.
