¡Hola, hivers!

Paso a compartirles mi día de ayer, en el cual jugué minigolf con mis vecinos para disfrutar juntos de una noche espontánea y divertida. Uno de mis vecinos, a quien denominaré el Señor C., es el alma de la fiesta, le encanta organizar eventos, animarlos y proponer cualquier actividad que mantenga unidos a los vecinos de la calle, ¡por lo que esta vez no fue la excepción!

Desde que recuerdo, el Señor C. siempre ha sido muy entusiasta, ha trabajado como locutor, profesor, coordinador de eventos deportivos, planes vacacionales y demás actividades académicas y comunitarias. Al construir su casa, dejó un gran espacio de césped para crear un campo de mini golf, puesto que entre sus pasiones está el golf (jugarlo y enseñarlo), ¡cuando éramos niños jugábamos torneos infantiles, con trofeos incluidos! 😀

Hello, hivers!

I'm sharing with you my day yesterday, in which I played mini-golf with my neighbors to enjoy a spontaneous and fun evening together. One of my neighbors, who I'll call Mr. C., is the life of the party, he loves to organize events, cheer them up and propose any activity that keeps the neighbors on the street together, so this time was no exception!

For as long as I can remember, Mr. C. has always been very enthusiastic, he has worked as a broadcaster, teacher, coordinator of sporting events, vacation plans and other academic and community activities. When he built his house, he left a large lawn to create a mini golf course, since among his passions is golf (playing and teaching it), when we were kids we played tournaments for children, with trophies included! 😀

Con respecto a la mañana de ayer, el Señor C. tuvo la idea realizar un torneo de minigolf para damas e improvisó el premio con un banderín rosado, solicitando a todos los asistentes que lleváramos algo para compartir. En cuestión de horas, nos encontramos con la grata sorpresa de que tuvimos una mesa llena de bizcochos y tentempiés para degustar al final del amistoso torneo.

Regarding yesterday morning, Mr. C. came up with the idea of a mini golf tournament for ladies and improvised the prize with a pink pennant, asking all attendees to bring something to share. Within hours, we were pleasantly surprised to find that we had a table full of biscuits and snacks to enjoy at the end of the friendly tournament.

Participamos 7 vecinas de distintas edades. El campo de minigolf estuvo constituido por 3 hoyos e hicimos 3 rondas del torneo. Al inicio, el Señor C. nos explicó como agarrar el palo de golf y cómo jugar adecuadamente, hicimos una ronda de práctica y ¡comenzamos el juego!

We participated 7 neighbors of different ages. The miniature golf course consisted of 3 holes and we did 3 rounds of the tournament. At the beginning, Mr. C. explained us how to hold the golf club and how to play properly, we did a practice round and we started the game!

¡Disfrutamos muchísimo! Aprendimos más de este peculiar deporte, nos reímos y comimos riquísimo. También, agradecimos que la lluvia no arruinó nuestros planes, pues un árbol amplio cubría el campo de juego.

We had a great time! We learned more about this peculiar sport, laughed and ate delicious food. Also, we were thankful that the rain did not ruin our plans, as a large tree covered the playing field.
