My intro post to Hive
Hello Hivers!
Greetings from Portugal. 😁
This introductory post has a been a (rather long) time in the making. Though it seems like yesterday, it has been some time ago (maybe more than 1 year?) that I had a couple of friends visiting and telling me about crypto. My journey started then, with (almost) daily posts on Noise.Cash. Took me a while to get the hang of that (the algorithm “loves” me), but it seems that I finally made it. Soooooo, to celebrate, I decided to take it up a notch and finally (FINALLY!) become a “busy bee” (I am smirking at how ironic this is, as I already run around like crazy anyway…). I digress… where were we? Ah! Right… Newbie here! But I hope I get to tell you some interesting stories. This is all I can promise my future readers on this platform. A life full of stories, told in pictures (mostly) and a few inspired words. What kind of stories? Well… I have a few categories you can choose from:
Travel Stories
In my “younger years” I was an avid traveler and got to visit a few different countries a year. In parallel, my taste and skill in photography were developed, and I got to take a few good shots along the way. Unfortunately, due to COVID, this activity has been in “dangle mode” for a while, so I am likely going to be posting mostly memories and archive photos. Hopefully, this will change in the near future.
Animal Rescue Stories
Because I am what we in Portuguese like to call a “butter heart” (i.e. melts without much effort), I have started doing volunteer work several years back and have many rescue and adoption stories with some amazing pictures to go with. If you like pets, and you wear your heart on your sleeves like I do, you might like to check out one of these. Only happy endings… I promise!
Heritage Stories
The coffee in the morning, the fireworks of the party, the spice of who we are and where we live. My cultural background, my (adopted) region, our landscapes, our culture. Who knows… maybe I convince you to visit and have a travel story of your own? That would be the goal.
And this is what you can expect from this profile. A handful of stories and a little bit of magic.
