Objective:

Have at least 7 happy coins in your inventory, which will earn you a Hive SBI.

Players can see a spreadsheet with their inventory and health here:

ctrl + L-click OR R-click and choose to open in a new tab (these are the ONLY solutions I found for opening a new tab/window).
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1k5jXGMU9CF-9V3ZCz2YHGP7aswEiTizxfu4SBy-s2vI/edit?usp=sharing (make sure you are on the ZOMBIES tab).

The Rules of this game can be found here:

on Steem
on Hive

Prizes:

Hive SBI for collecting 7 or more happy coins. PLUS...
Everyone who plays gets daily up-votes on their comments. The reward is much bigger on Steem. (Delegating SP will increase the vote value).
Survivors can also 3D-print their own "survival" token using this link.
And
Survivors may claim their buttons by copying and pasting the following code and proudly display them on their pages:
![SurvivedButton2.png](https://steemitimages.com/DQmTam1MrwcbLssSvPykpvUNYVY4aJKfhE2pQnTMwQRzzSh/SurvivedButton2.png)

![SteemButton2.png](https://steemitimages.com/DQmTwsQMxDVZgNMfniXk5Dme1ZnoAwAWjyirsgVcp3qSyeD/SteemButton2.png)

Tagging players (@improv, @simplegame, @holybread, @bashadow, @pbock, @dksart, @badpupper, @stever82, @justatouchfey, @aussieninja, @hhayweaver, @jfang003, @oadissin, @shani.chaudhary and @secret-art) so you know a new post has been made. You can post to either or both chains but my V.P. is considerably larger on Steem.

Additional twist:

Before each player takes their daily turn, roll a D20 to see if you get any bonus. **Please note** that the bonus must be used during the CURRENT TURN. If you do not specify to which action you wish to apply the bonus, it will be applied to your first action where applicable.

Minting:

In order to mint a happy-coin, you must deposit a happy-coin into the mint and pull the lever (2 actions). Your original coin will come out of the machine and you may retrieve it (another action). A new coin will be minted and appear somewhere on the map. To determine its location, roll a D6 and use values between 1 and 5; starting from the bottom right corner (where everyone begins) and count columns to the left. Then roll a D12 and use only values between 1 and 9 to count rows up. That is where the coin appears.

Zombie turn after the players made their moves:

  • Existing zombies on the board move towards the players.
  • Spawning rolls were 1,2,1, so nothing, nothing, nothing. LOTS of low rolls this last set!

G61Sep23.jpg

Please use my online tool for determining actions.

  • There is no need to roll twice for searches because the search function already has the roll for finding an item or finding a zombie built into it, so when searching, simply input the number of torches you have (default is zero, so if you have none, you need not enter anything) and click SEARCH to see what you found.
  • If you have a "double damage" that you wish to use with a search, you can add a torch to double the take.

NOTE:
You can also download an HTML file to run your own random number generator,
or get the revised, but more specific (thus less adaptable) version.

You may wish to use the template below (copy, paste, edit).

Home ownership---ain't it so so much fun!!! Beats the hell out of loud ugly music or movies from the people down stairs, or the constant flushing of toilets from the people upstairs. You must be in a pretty old solidly built home if roots are your problem. Enjoy the weekend.

Its actually the neighbour's house, but yea... I'm happy with my house built in 1970.
Roto-Rooter charged her $500 to do nothing but bust up the T at the well, then said it would cost $1200 to dig up 5 feet from the well out. Next they would have told her it was still plugged and soak her some more! I offered to do the work for free.

That was nice of you, to many businesses taking advantage of the covid issue. I had to buy new winter tires for this season, twice what they cast 5 years ago.

Wow! 2 X the price in 5 years, probably mostly inflated in the past few months.
The guy at the hardware store told my neighbour that there isn't any drain pipe to be found, so I don't know how I'm going to put everything back together again without any new T fittings. He said there was no pipe, but perhaps they do have the fittings. I just hope we can find some! I'm still struggling to get the dirt out. I just made a makeshift auger from a tin can and some 1.5-inch black pipe. Hopefully the tin can is solid enough to move the dirt! I'll find out in the morning. The store-bought drain auger pokes right through without pulling any of the dirt out, so that's pretty much useless. A waste of $45.

If our dollar is going to be cut in half every few months going forward, I think we might be better off buying as much crypto as we can. I heard gold and silver were sold out months ago. Not sure how true that is though.

I'm just glad the price of gas is not spiking like in some parts of the lower 48, I saw david's post and it is $4.57 a whole dollar more than we pay and Alaska has almost always had more expensive gas than most of the lower 48. I wonder if California doubled their gas tax or not at some of the prices I see there, or if it is just price gouging like with the tires for winter up here.

Gasoline is $1.505/L here in BC.
The US gallon is about 3.785 liters.
So approx. $5.70/ US gal.
1 CAD = 0.789927 USD
So approx. $4.50/gal in USD.

Hahaha, I am 0% surprised! You've been working so hard this week... I have to imagine you're feeling pretty sore from breaking up that concrete.

Actually, I'm not sore at all. I probably should be. Perhaps I'm just too busy to feel the pain?
In actual fact, the concrete was just 2 smallish sections. I used a diamond blade to cut half-way through (my discs are too small to go all the way through) and then a sledge hammer to bust away enough to get a small garden spade under the lip. With no soil to support the slab, I was able to chip away at it and make the hole bigger and bigger until I could get a proper shovel in there to really scoop out the dirt from under the slab. A few good whacks and it all broke up in the first hole.

I tried using a 5/8 inch masonry bit and a hammer drill to weaken the 2nd hole/slab, but that was too hard on my hands, so I only made about 5 or 6 holes and gave up on that idea. I went back to the diamond blade and cut through the series of holes (the cutting was easier following the line of holes), but the concrete was considerably thicker in this area, so breaking up the concrete to get my starting hole was quite time consuming. Then, even after I had dug out the dirt from under the slab, it took a lot of effort to get bits of the slab to break off. Then came the fun part... trying to expose the pipe without breaking it. The T in the 2nd hole is actually under concrete steps, so not much room to maneuver in there. The T was surrounded by roots with a couple of big ones actually going into the T itself. I managed to remove the T (in pieces - it's a crappy Big-O thin-walled fitting), cut the roots that went into the pipe and using a winch, pull 10 feet of roots out the other end. Unfortunately, the roots didn't pull the dirt out with them and I'll need to deal with that yet. Plus, about 7 feet of one root is still in that dirt. It broke off and didn't come out with the other length. However, since I have BOTH ends of that section open, I may be able to use water pressure and a hose to flush that section clear. The other section MIGHT go out to the street, so I don't want to push the dirt farther down the line. I'd like to auger that out if I can. I dug a hole where I expected the pipe to go but didn't find it there, so I suspect it turns and goes out to the city storm drains.

I don't think that's how DOMS (delayed onset muscle soreness) works... maybe you're just conditioned and tough enough that it's just not an issue?

It's so weird when you have to bash your way through something, but then be really precise and careful with it all. It's also so interesting how modern society works with all this magical plumbing that no one ever really thinks about.

Perhaps re-roofing my house got me into shape, because before that I didn't do much physical labour for over 10 years.

Last year we looked at her drain pipe and saw the roots from the sump, so we expected trouble, but then forgot about it. She is planning to re-surface all the concrete, both front and back next year, so its a good thing this piping gave problems BEFORE pouring new concrete. At the time, we figured that Roto-Rooter could clear the roots with their cutter blade on their auger. Now we know better.
