What better way to celebrate an anniversary or a birthday than with a delicious cake?

Cakes represent the celebration of a celebration par excellence.

There is no celebration without a delicious cake to entertain, enjoy and share with family or friends.
The concept of cake varies from country to country.

For example, in some South American countries such as Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, the torta is a sweet cake that is baked in the oven and prepared especially for birthday parties and weddings.

Also for the Spanish the torta is a kind of sponge cake or a kind of flattened bread always sweet.

In Mexico, the appearance of a torta changes completely and resembles a kind of stuffed sandwich (not sweet but salty) filled with meat, ham, chicken, cheese, sausage or seafood.

Sweet cakes actually have a very ancient origin and some historians claim that more than 5,000 years ago (i.e. 3,000 B.C.) civilisations such as the Sumerians, Persians and the millenary dynasty of the Pharaohs in Ancient Egypt celebrated birthdays and other anniversaries with cakes whose main ingredients were flour, honey and dates.

Egyptian hierophylls of such celebrations and birthday celebrations of Cleopatra II in the Roman era are still preserved.

Even pagan festivals such as the Day of the Dead were celebrated with cakes until the arrival of Christianity gave them a more spiritual character.

These are cakes that have been prepared for birthdays of my family, my children or anniversaries of my marriage.

You are definitely right. There's no better way to celebrate something than with a nice, juicy cake. The sweetness awakens those endorphins and makes people feel great. Chocolate peanut is my favorite hahaha cheers!
