New household members | I'm so excited!

I would like to tell you that soon we will have more members living here at home, since one of my brothers will come to live with us, with his wife and daughter, this unexpected situation was motivated by the fact that the house where they lived was sold, that house belonged to my brother's mother-in-law, for personal reasons she made that decision and will go to live in a place quite far away from the workplaces of both my brother and my sister-in-law.

Les comento que próximamente seremos más miembros los que convivamos aquí en casa, ya que se vendrán a vivir con nosotros, uno de mis hermanos, con su esposa e hija, esta situación tan inesperada se dio motivado a que la casa donde ellos vivían la vendieron, esa casa era de la suegra de mi hermano, por motivos personales tomó esa decisión y se ira a vivir a un sitio bastante retirado de los sitios de trabajo tanto de mi hermano como de mi cuñada.

Given this, they had no other choice but to move here, since it is closer to their workplaces, and thank God there is a room available for them to occupy.

En vista de eso pues no tuvieron otra opción sino de venirse a vivir para acá, ya que aquí les queda más cerca de sus sitios laborales,y gracias a Dios que hay una habitación disponible para que ellos la ocupen.

They talked to my mother to tell them about the situation and she gladly agreed to give them the support they need this time, and we have been known for being a united family, in this case with them who are the ones we share the most, and that is why the family is there to offer a helping hand in times of difficulty.

Ellos hablaron con mi mamá para comentarles la situación y ella con todo gusto accedió a prestarles el apoyo que necesitan en estos momentos, y nosotros nos hemos caracterizado por ser una familia unida, en este caso con ellos que son con los que más compartimos, y para eso está la familia para brindar una mano amiga en los momentos de dificultad.

The house is a disaster, to say the least, because in spite of having the room available, it was not habitable and we have to make some repairs, from the roof to the paint, and it is only that room and the house is horrible.

La casa esta vuelta un desastre por decirlo de alguna manera, ya que a pesar de tener la habitación disponible, pues no estaba habitable y hay que hacerle unos ciertos arreglos, que van desde el techo, hasta pintura, y es sólo esa habitación y la casa esta pero horrible.

Although I get along very well with my brother and sister-in-law, I am somewhat anxious about living with them, since one thing is to be a visitor and quite another is to spend the day to day, many say that the change and adaptation will only be for them, but it is not so, the change is for all family members, because it is not one person but three and as the saying goes "Every head is a world".

A pesar de que me las llevo muy bien con mi hermano y cuñada, estoy algo ansiosa con el hecho de que convivir con ellos, ya que una cosa es ser visita y otra muy distinta es pasar el día a día, muchos dicen que el cambio y la adaptación solo será para ellos, pero no es así, el cambio es para todo los miembros de la familia, porque no es una sola persona son tres y como dice el dicho "Cada cabeza es un mundo".

And there is a child in the middle (my niece) at least here the youngest is my daughter and she is already 13 years old, I do not know what is a child running around the house, crying, screaming, because I am used to silence, and my niece is very hyperactive and comes with a very different doctrine to which we are already accustomed and very different from the way I raised my daughter.

Y hay una niña de por medio (mi sobrina) por lo menos aquí la más pequeña es mi hija y ya tiene 13 años, yo no se que es un correteo de un niño en la casa, sus lloraderas, sus gritos, por que estoy acostumbrada al silencio, y mi sobrina es muy hiperctavida, y viene con una doctrina muy distinta a la que estamos ya acostumbrados y muy distinta a la forma que crié a mi hija.

I don't want to get ahead of myself, because maybe the situation will be easier than I am imagining, or maybe it will be an uphill struggle, I only ask for one house to carry the situation that is coming and that is PATIENCE.

A todas estas, no me quiero adelantar a los hechos, porque tal vez la situación sea más fácil de la que me estoy imaginando, o tal vez se me haga cuesta arriba, sólo pido una sola casa para llevar la situación que se viene y es PACIENCIA.
