'String11' - New Original Music - Messing Around Last Night - Electronic/Instrumental

in 11, which was mostly just me messing around with random sounds. I think it wound up with a pretty cool outcome, though its just the same loop repeating, so I would need to get some variation here to make it more of a 'song'. I started with the Augmented Strings plugin from Arturia in Track 3, which plays the orange part pictured below, subdividing the bar into 6 beats and 5 beats (which the drums also accent). Track 4 adds some chords, Cmin, Ab, Bb, and Ab again. Tracks 5 and 6 are the drums, which use the 'Deep Knight' kit for hats, snares and kicks, and the 'Eggs of Satan' kit for some other percussion sounds. Finally, I added Track 2, which is a synth bass from Vital (I've been trying to use this plug-in more lately, as it's a lot of fun), and plays the line pictured above to the right. I think this instrument is my favorite here, as the portamento/glide adds a really cool timbre to things. Maybe I'll sit on this for a few days, revisit it later on and see if I can't find a way to expand on it, make it feel more like a complete song.
