'Stone Track' - New Original Music - Another Idea in the Same Vein

in the same sort of vein as the last few shared. I've been trying to play around with samples more in Ableton, as I tend to use them on the Digitakt all the time but less so while in DAWs, so these last few ideas have leaned in that direction a lot. I started here with a piano line that just played a C5 and an Abmaj7, on top of which I added a convolution reverb. I used a SUPER noisey sample for the IR, and turned it all the way wet, so the piano part was almost lost entirely; I had to EQ and damper things quite a bit, then recorded that reverb/piano part to audio. Then, I pitched it down an octave, so it doubled in length (Track 7) and provides the backdrop for all the other stuff. Track 8 is a kick drum, but it doesn't really play a beat... I think its fine, but needs to happen a bit more often, as it seems to random now (though its not). The last 4 tracks (9 through 12) come in sequentially, providing some background melodic and harmonic ideas. I'll keep playing with this, and hopefully it'll become more cohesive in the near future.
