'Step 5' - New Original Music - Messing w/ the Bass Synth

tonight that was new, but, I did play around with the previously shared idea a bit more... last time, there was no bass, so that's included here (in Track 5). I wound up automating a little cutoff swell, as seen to the right here. That winds up providing a weird little effect, sort of a digitized, bitcrushy kind of thing, which wasn't intentional but I think makes for a nice change of texture. As mentioned last time, this bass part isn't at all randomized, though I did copy-paste it over the bar lines so it varies a bit more than you'd expect. But I think the constant C pedaling, with the quick portamento/slide to other notes, really filled out things here, especially the build-up toward the middle of the tune. I dunno if I'll keep playing with this, we'll see what happens.
