'Snaps2' - New Original Music - A New Late Night Idea...

which I think has potential, though it's definitely a rough idea. So far, I like things and think with some variation, maybe a B section, it could feel more complete. This actually started with the snap sounds (Track 12), and a Radiohead Groove pack I forgot I had. I used it for those and the drums in Track 13, which worked really well. It gives things a much more laidback groove, with most hits slightly late but a few a bit early. The basic chords started with the below synth part, outlining a Dmaj9 and then an Emin7, just back and forth. There is another piano part filling in the gaps a bit, and Tracks 5 and 6, which just hold a D5 and E5 on a pad sound. Finally we have the bass, pictured above to the right, which with the OTT Compression made for a pretty cool bass sound. The progression is simple, and I think this + the drums are my favorite parts here, so I may try some alternate chord/arpeggio parts, see where things go. I'll be sure to share the results if anything changes dramatically.
