I had a kind of basic chord progression

Tracks 3 and 5, Green (C) Section
I had been playing on the guitar earlier in the day, and I liked the rhythmic simplicity of it, but that it used some cool out of key chords, so I figured I'd map it out in Ableton. I did, and added some other tracks, but didn't love the general vibe, so I wound up adding different Portal effects to the whole group of instruments, resulting in this strange, sort of ambient, floaty idea here. I think maybe with some more direction, this could be used for something cool, particularly if it was chopped up to create beats of some sort. Tracks 3 and 5 both play that main chord progression, and Track 3 was also recorded to audio in Track 4, then each chord change reversed to swell into the next. The progression is made up of 3 parts, A (in blue), B (Pink) and C (Green). The A part (which repeats 2x) moves from D, to Dmaj7, to G and Emin; the B part starts on C, to G, to Amin7, and Emin; and finally, the C part begins on D, to F#min, and G, before returning to the top. Track 6 was a random addition, using a Korg sample and dropping it into Simpler, playing the little lead line pictured below. I then grouped ALL of these instruments together, and recorded the whole group to Tracks 8 and 9, with two different, VERY intense Portal effects, to create the weird, granular madness you now here. We'll see if I can find a way to use this somewhere, and maybe have a more interesting idea to share soon.

This sounds really amazing, dude!

I'm in love with that kind of ambient, reversed stuff, and you did it creatively. Cheers!!
