'Cosmos' - New Original Music - Playing w/ More Albion Sounds - Electronic/Soundscapey/Instrumental
This was the result of me just scrolling
through the MASSIVE list of sounds in Albion, and just trying things out. I started with some of the toms and octobans, in Tracks 1, 2 and 3, which play rhythms, but spread out across a long period of time, so it doesn't really feel like a drum pattern, just accents over the spaciness on top. After this, I added a bunch of different things, some horns, strings, noises, synthy ambience... some of them are recorded into audio (two of these came from the Ashlight demo), most left as MIDI instruments, so I would have actual screenshots of piano rolls to share here, hehe. The last instrument, Track 12, is muted here... it's a low, brassy sort of sound, which you'd immediately recognize as that creepy single note used in EVERY sci-fi, action, and horror movie trailers these days. It didn't really fit the rest of the vibe here, was just an experiment, so I didn't want to include it here. I do like the timbre of it, so I'll try and use it another context that may work better. Overall, not a particularly thought out idea, but I think it's got some potential, so I'll sit on it and maybe revisit it in a few days.
