'Chsl4' - New Original Music - Messing with Some Ozone Plugins...

which a few days back I wanted to attempt some mastering on. To be clear, I am NOT a master "masterer" haha, it's one thing I haven't spent nearly enough time working on, but I'm trying to do more of it. I've been using reference tracks more, and sort of quizzing myself on various, subtle changes to sounds, hopefully to level-up on that front longterm. Ozone 10 is a plugin that I got entirely for free, they had a random promotion a few years ago where (for some reason) a bunch of their products were entirely free for a week or two window. Ozone 10 specifically is supposed to be for mastering tracks, via one single plug-in, though more skilled producers and engineers seem to scoff at it a bit, or at least for using it as the ONLY mastering plug-in. But, for a beginner, I find it really helpful as it gives you a bunch of slots to till in with various tools, and you can easily turn these on and off and listen into specific effects and EQ bands, which I think has been helping quite a bit for me to be able to hear the more subtle effects that mastering is really capable of providing to a song.
