'Beesp2' - New Original Music - A Quick Creation from Last Night
This was a random thing from last night
which turned out pretty cool, mostly by accident. The first two tracks were some random sounds from Arturia demos, which I think I added a heavy LFOtool preset to for both of them, to get that choppy sound. I later went into each audio clip (in the blue section) and pitched up various little 32nd and 16th note bits to get that glitchy weird sound. Tracks 5, 7 and 8 (all grouped together) are the drums. The 'kick' and 'snare' sounds (not really actual kicks or snares) are the 'Analog Face' kit, which I really love the sound of. I added Track 7, which was technically a kit of just snare sounds, but they're all super effected, and I used them for hi-hat-ish sounds. I ran that through a return track with a Spectral Resonator (with randomized freq. and decay settings), then recorded that audio into Track 8. I could've just let it play through the return track, but every time around it would be different with the randomized settings, so this gave me a single play through to use and edit a bit. Finally, we have Track 9 (bass) and 10 and 11, which are both sounds from the Arturia Matrix-12 demo. Overall, there isn't a ton of variation here, but I think the randomized stuff and the weirdness in Tracks 2 and 3 helps keep things interesting.
