Another Patterning + Digitakt Idea I am Excited to Revisit...

I had been digging through old videos, and found these jams with the Digitakt and the Patterning app on iPad, and REALLY want to start incorporating that app again. The jam I shared last time was cool, but I had completely forgotten about this one, which was my first attempt. The iPad actually isn't even synced here, I hadn't purchased by midi hub yet, so the drums are just kind of happening, as weird, ambient noise stuff happens on the Digitakt. But, the drums themselves are what I really love here, they have such a quirky, kind of squishy sound, and the way the app works with polyrhythms, weird tuplets, and the ability to bring sounds in and out super quickly makes me want to use it ASAP! I am still planning on having a bunch of fun this weekend with it, so stay tuned...
