'Ambient Future' - New Original Music - Random Late Night Thing...

from last night, which I am not entirely sure about so far... it had started as a totally ambient thing, Tracks 3 and 4 are basically white noise/clicky sounds, and rain sounds (pitched and slowed down a lot). I added Portal AND Thermal to that group, to get some weird variation, as well as a pitched, rhythmic bit (unintentional, but was cool). However, I moved away from the ambient stuff with all the subsequent tracks. This started with the chords below, played on a piano, then I used Cypher2 and an arpeggiator sound to play the chords. I didn't like the constant rhythm, so I automated the arp. speed, having it vary pretty randomly, which actually was a cool effect though I dunno if it really fits here, hehe. The other tracks are all basically single note lines, accenting the chord changes. The ambient parts vs. the chordal, more constant stuff doesn't really work? I'm not sure which way to lean, but I think maybe I'll try it without all the noise first, see if it can become a more solidifed song.
