First Payment i got

I got my my first payment from a teaching job after i finished my secondary school.
I was seeking admission into the university to study Medicine and surgery, but i was given courses that wasn't even close to it, so i have to leave the admission.

I have lived with my parents since i was born so i didn't really need to hustle for anything, but the moment i finished secondary school, it became OYO( On your own) i eat food and i have shelter so i stopped receiving the little allowance or had savings like before.

It was really depressing because sometimes i want to get something for myself but i can't ask them for the money. Things like transport to see a friend or subscription on my phone i couldn't even afford.

I started searching for a job, and luckily found a teaching job.
Teaching jobs are really stressful mostly when you are teaching children, you will need to shout, write lesson note, go to school early.
I was given Nursery 3 class to teach. That was my first time working or working in a school. The work i did was more than the payment, i got 12,000(in Naira) a month. But then i just had to manage because i wanted to be leaving the house.
The school was close to my house, so i didn't have to pay Transport fare.

I stopped working there, when i fell sick, the stress was so much that my body couldn't handle a anymore maybe because it was my first time, so my dad asked me to stop the work and start reading to take another jamb into the university.
It was the last jamb that gave me admission to study medical laboratory.

The teaching experience was an added advantage though, now i have experience in teaching job.

Yours was even good at 12k, thou my first employment was more, but most people hardly get such.

I remember when almost everyone I knew was a teacher, for many it was not even about the money, it was just a means to leave the house pending when they would get admission to the university. Thankfully, we all are in somewhat better places.
