Just the two of us | Original characters.
Hello community, I hope you’re all doing well! Today I’m sharing a drawing I finished a few days ago. It’s one of those pieces I had stored away and hadn’t uploaded to YouTube yet, only to Instagram and Facebook. I titled it "Just the Two of Us" because I was listening to that song while drawing, and perhaps by chance, the composition ended up featuring two characters.
This is a reimagining of an idea I had worked on before, but this time I made the girl look more human and gave her a more intentional pose. I’m really enjoying this style where characters seem to be posing for a photo rather than a drawing; it gives the composition a unique artistic feel.
Originally, I thought about drawing her nude, but then I decided to have her wearing an oversized shirt (maybe belonging to the werewolf accompanying her) to cover her body while still leaving much to the imagination. I included the werewolf because a friend mentioned she wanted a drawing with that theme but couldn't quite picture the result, so I added it to show her how a hypothetical design for her would look. Hola comunidad, espero que estén bien. Hoy vengo a mostrarles un dibujo que hice hace unos días, parte de los que tenía acumulados y que aún no había subido a YouTube, solo a mi Instagram y Facebook. Lo titulé "Just the Two of Us" porque escuchaba esa canción mientras dibujaba y, quizás por casualidad, terminaron siendo dos personajes en la composición.
Es una evolución de una idea que trabajé anteriormente, pero esta vez cambié a la chica por una más humana y con una pose más preparada. Me está gustando este estilo donde los personajes parecen estar posando para una foto más que para un dibujo, ya que le da un aire artístico diferente a la obra.
Al principio pensé en hacerla desnuda, pero luego decidí vestirla con una camisa extragrande (posiblemente del hombre lobo que la acompaña) para cubrir parte de su cuerpo, dejando de igual forma mucho a la imaginación. Añadí al hombre lobo porque una amiga me comentó que quería un dibujo con esa temática pero no se imaginaba el resultado; así que lo incluí para que viera cómo quedaría en un diseño hipotético para ella.
