The Wonder of Fungi Plants Located here In The Philippines

We are blessed with beautiful things and places here on earth, and because of this it helps to be peaceful and preserve the vitality and beauty of nature. The Philippines has different types of fungi plants that can be found around especially in cold areas such as mountains, rivers and forests. It only grows in places that don't get direct sunlight. There are fungi plants or mushrooms that can be seen and eaten here but some of them are very dangerous and should not be eaten. This is my first post here in our community and I hope you like my presentation and article about mushrooms or fungi plants.

Polypuros ArculariusContains a Small black dots on the top of the leaves and it grows in a rotten trees just like manggo tree. This kind of fungi plants cannot be eaten and it is very dangerous.

This is one of the types of fungi plants found here in our country [Philippines]. Its color is beautiful and there are black dots on the tips of its leaves. It grows on dead trees such as mango and Santol trees. It is not edible and it is very dangerous for people who want to eat this type of mushroom. So everyone avoids it, but even though it's dangerous, it's still attractive to look at because of its designs.

Amanita JacksoniiContains a perfect cone shape of the leaves with a dark spots under its leaves.

It is also a beautiful type of Fungi because of the perfect cone on its leaves. It grows in places near rivers, creeks or in swamps places. It can't be eaten either and only the design flesh makes it attractive to the eye. It has long white stalks that grow on the ground or on the rock where it grows.

Ear FungusContains a curly shape leaves with shinny brown colors on it.

It is called ear fungus because of its ear shape. It has a beautiful and shiny brown color that grows on large trees such as mango. It can easily be removed from its place and is also inedible.

It is a type of fungi that has round shaped leaves. There are many types of planet fungi and one of its colors is the Shiny Blue color. It grows on burnt wood or charcoal trees.

Hoof FungusContains a line pattern in the tip of the leaves.

This type of fungi plant can be seen on large trees even though the ones it clings to have not yet withered or died. It is usually found in cold places and this type of mushroom is rough. It has no stem and only its leaves grow. The color is adapted to the area where it grows or I call it camouflage.

Armillaria OstoyaeConsists of Yellow colors with a dust particles on the leaves.

It has dusty particles on its leaf surface. It grows on trees or on large rocks in the middle of the forest. There are different types of this type of fungi plant including its colors and shapes. It usually grows on its dry leaves and branches, this type of plant has small and large stalks and most of all it is inedible.

Spongiporous LeucospongiaA hard and rough mushrooms that grows in the cool areas.

It has beautiful colors like black and white. There are black lines at the end of its leaves. The bottom part of the leaf is wrinkled and is a good decoration inside or outside the house.

There are lots of fungi plants can be seen in different places and all of this gives a great contributions to maintain the cleanliness and relaxing place we have.
