A Simple Way Of Living But Enjoyable and Very worth It

If we talk about the Word, "Province" we already know that most of the job can be found here involves a Man power, meaning it requires strength to perform the work perfectly and correctly. This time, I decided to visit here in our cow ranch place in Manticao, Misamis Oriental. Last day, my Father was doing a plan to plant corns in the slope of the mountain and the only problem is, there are lots of grasses and trees in the place.

As for that, we have no choice but to cut those trees in the place so that we can be able to plant corn. Corn does not grow in a shady places and it really needs a wide and open areas straight directed to the sunlight. Those cut trees will not be wasted because we will going to sell this to the Public market as firewoods, use for cooking foods. Thia kind of job is quite not really easy because some of it are heavy.

With the help of our neighbor we started to cut the trees down so that we can also start to plow and plant more corn. At first, we carefully check the area if it is good for the crops and other kinds of plants, and as we satisfied about the place, we started to cut the trees. Not all of the trees were cutting down, only the best areas were we plant the corn. The place was very stepped because it is in the mountain that is why it was very difficult to cut the trees and it needs a timing and calculating were it be tembered. The cut trees will be measure in exact length and removing the skin so that it can easily dried up under the sun.

The men we asked to do this job, was measuring the exact length of the trees once it will cut down. This is a kind of wise plan so that it will lessen the heavy of the tree. This will be carried on below the mountain and to begin cutting it again for the exact length. People who buy firewood will give the right length for their order and it should be properly cut and tied. This guy was having fun about his work, and to him even if this is a kind of hard work, directly hit by the heat of the sun, still He love his job to make him earn.

Our ranch is located near at Barangay Paniangan Manticao Misamis Oriental. In fact, our place is also serve as the boundary between the two Barangays of Manticao. It contains lots of trees just like manggo, coconut trees and many more. There are also many kinds of wildplants, shrubs and banana plants located in the place. Ipil trees are very perfect to plant in here because the soil is very fertile, and we are very proud to have this place.

This is the Manggo tree that my Grandma planted. Every month of September, we always went in this place search for a ripe fruits. We sell some of this fruits to the Public Market and some are for meal purposes. Its been a 78 years of this tree and the branches are started to wethered and fall down.

There are also some of the fascinating things we can find if we are in the mountain. One of this is this Geckos egg shell. I was very surprised to this geckos egg shell and I think it already hatched or just broke accidentally. Mostly geckos lives in a cool and vast places away from people and houses. We don't include to cut this trees were the geckos lives.

The trees we cut will carried down from the mountain and it will cut again in perfect length. After that, we will dried it under the sun and if it dries, we will group it into 6 firewoods and tied it up.

This is one of the cows we always tied in here. We are very lucky because even if we experienced an extremely heat, still there are lots of grass that our farm animal can eat. Actually we have 6 cows left in the place and some of it are already sell to the cow buyer.

Having this kind of simple and relaxing place is really fun. Even if we are very far from crowded places, still we can have what we need in our daily Life here in the Province.
