The coldest wave of this winter is coming‼ / この冬一番の寒波がやってくる

It is said that the strongest cold wave of this winter will hit Japan next week. On the Japan Sea side, there will be heavy snow over a wide area and in Tokyo, the temperature will not rise and the cold will continue. My sons say "it's good if it snows," but I don’t think so. Because I'm extremely bad at dealing with cold weather.

When I was a child, I loved all seasons, spring, summer, autumn, and winter. But gradually, I became bad at dealing with cold winter. Then, even the arrival of summer, which I used to love, began to make me feel depressed. I still like autumn. However, in recent years, I have become too sentimental when it starts and it's a bit scary. So, the only season left for me is spring! I wish spring would come soon! The photos are from March of the year before last, taken at Yoshida Park in Shizuoka Prefecture. It was bright and warm and it was really nice.

Electricity bills have been rising, so I would like to spend next week without using the air conditioner as much as possible. Our living room gets a lot of sunlight, we can spend during the day without turning on the air conditioner and we will be fine with short sleeves. But I'm sure next week the sunlight will be weak, so I want to wear in layers and stay warm to overcome the harsh cold.

来週はこの冬一番の寒波がやってくるそうです。日本海側では広い範囲で大雪、東京も気温が上がらず厳しい寒さが続くとのこと・・・。子どもたちは「雪降らないかな～」なんて言っていますが、私はゴメンです（笑）とにかく寒いのが苦手なので。

子どもの頃は、全ての季節が好きでした。でも徐々に、寒い冬が苦手になっていきました。続いて、大好きだった夏の到来を憂鬱に感じるようになりました。秋は今でも好きですが、どうもここ数年は秋口になると感傷的になり過ぎるようで（元々その傾向は強かったのが、さらに強くなったような気が）ちょっと怖いのです。となると、私にはもう春しか残っていません！早く春になって欲しい・・・！一昨年の3月、静岡県の吉田公園で撮った写真をUPしておきます。明るくて、あったかくて良かったなあ。。

電気代が高騰しているので、来週もできるだけエアコンをつけずに過ごしたいんですけどね。うちは異様に日当たりが良く、太陽さえ出ていれば、日中はエアコンをつけなくても半袖で過ごせてしまうほどです。でもきっと、来週は日差しも弱いのでしょう。しっかり着込んで、暖かくして過ごさなくては。
