New digital drawing: Asake
Good morning everyone,
Today I want to share with us my recent drawing. This drawing is unique and special to me because its a combination of my two styles. Scribble and painting. Like you guys have known, I decided to lean how to use photoshop early this year and I've been able to produce three amazing paintings. But then again a lot of people admire my scribble drawings also. So I decide do make a drawing which combines these two styles together. It's a unique one which I've never tried out before and I'm so pleased with the result.
About the drawing
Now guys let me take you on a journey of imagination. Close your eyes and imagine how people will look today if some practice and cultures are not dropped. I wanted to merge traditinal with mordan which I did to create this first drawing. (Two more to go). This drawing Asake is a beautiful modern day sophisticated lady. You can tell by her shiny afro and well laid makeup. Now she maintain the tradition of Lip plate which looks more designed than the regular lip platem even on it she, paints it and added some words which defines her. Also her long ear with ear rings.

The drawing was made on photoshop with the help of a wacom tablet.
PROCESS
- First I made a painting of the drawing, then a scribble version of it. After that I clean some part of the painting to reveal the scribble parts and the Golden color just made it.

- To adorned the background, I drew adinkra symbols. Initially I just drew some signs from head but I later changed it to adinkra symbols so they will have a specific meaning.
