Having a restaurant experience for breakfast as I treated my self to a nice African traditional meal of Amala and Ewedu soup with goat meat.

Good morning everyone,

There is an adage in Yoruba which says 'Nkan ti eye ba je, leye n gbe fo' which means 'what a bird eat is what it'll use to fly'. In our endeavors, struggles and hardwork in life, the success we get is not directly utilized by our body. The only thing that directly benefits our body is food we eat. It saddens my heart when I see people who are well to do but could not manage to eat good food. For goodness sake, they are so stingy they extend it to their body.

We should try to treat our body nice and well. Eat balanced diet and good food. I'm not saying it should be abused and eat excessively but it should be taken right. So this morning, I went to a restaurant to buy myself a good meal. The name of the restaurant is Iya Yusuf restaurant, Tipper garage ilorin. I've not been eating well lately as I just suddenly lost appetite for most of the food cooked at home and so I thought buying outside might be better.

When I got to the restaurant, they were just bring the foods out hot and freshly prepared. So I ordered for amala (yam flour) with ewedu soup(jute vegetables) with two goat meats and a cow skin. As my food was being served I took some pictures of other delicacies in the restaurant.

When I got home, I removed my cloth, sat calmly on my long chair, ready to consume the best meal of the day, and yes it was really one of the best I've eaten in a while!
