Es fácil ver como una estafa hace que muchas personas pierdan dinero, pero sobrevalorar lo que el equipo directivo puede entregar tambien puede hacer que muchas personas pierdan dinero, pero en este caso a través de muchos inversores teniendo altas expectativas sobre algo que realmente no se puede lograr con la tecnología actual o en el tiempo especificado, lo cual hace que luego de un tiempo, estos mismos inversores empiecen a ver la realidad y decidan salirse de la inversión, haciendo que los precios caigan de forma importante.

Hoy tenemos el ejemplo de Plants Vs Undead, donde realmente estoy agradecido por no haber invertido, ya que había perdido mucho dinero de la misma forma que le ocurrió a muchas personas que creyeron en las promesas de este equipo, y que realmente se que no son estafadores porque es algo que sigue funcionando como plataforma de juego, pero simplemente el precio de su token no está respaldado por la promesa, sino por la realidad, cuando al principio muchas personas invirtieron en la promesa y no en la realidad.

Esta es la misma lógica que dicen inversores como Michael Burry para ir en contra de Tesla porque piensan que su acción está sobrevalorada hasta un punto en que debe conseguir aquello que prometen el año que viene o simplemente no puede mantener ese precio con los beneficios empresariales que están teniendo en la actualidad, siendo peor aun con la competencia que está comenzando a tener.

Invertir tiene no siempre son números, ya que tiene una parte abstracta y que se podría decir artística, donde los inversores tenemos que evaluar lo que puede ocurrir en el futuro en base a lo que la junta directiva quiere lograr, por lo que tenemos que imaginarnos como sería en el futuro, pero para esto tenemos que ver que quieren lograr y ser realistas en cuanto a si realmente se puede o si son solo fantasías altas, porque mientras más altas sean las expectativas, pero puede ser la caída, mientras que si se espera menos y se entrega más, el precio del activo también puede beneficiar mucho a quienes entienden el arte de invertir.
