What Then Is Love?

Every day we wake up to the increase in the rate of divorces all over the country, it's either the man was caught cheating or the woman was no longer enjoying the blissful marriage she has always envisioned and created about marriages.

Or perhaps the stories and fairy tales and movies have clouded our ideologies of what "Love" and "Marriage" is supposed to be all about.

One moment, the couples are taking pre-wedding pictures with all lovey-dovey smiles plastered on their faces and the exchange of the rings on the altars and with audiences cheering, awwwwwn them and wishing them a beautiful marriage, and the next thing we are seeing and hearing is all sort of the hell they went through in their marriages and the need to divorce.

If the lovey-dovey couples who we watched publicly exchange vows, smiles, kisses, rings, and all others and wished we were the ones doing that are now planning on getting a divorce because they later realized they were never compatible or perhaps their marriage was one of hell, What then is love?

What does it entail to love and be married till death do both the couple apart?

I know marriage isn't a bed of roses, love, and marriage comes with its own responsibility, but are there other responsibilities we've got to carry out that most divorcing couples are not aware of, or is it that marriage just wasn't meant for those particular couples?
