Cada uno de nosotros tenemos una historia diferente para contar acerca de como a sido la labor como padres y mas cuando se trata de los primerizos, que somos los que nos estrenamos en esta hermosa profesión que sin necesidad de pasar por una universidad hacemos lo mejor posible para formar ciudadanos con valores. En mi caso, hace 15 años tuve la dicha de ser madre de un hermoso ser que es un milagro de Dios y del cual estoy muy agradecida porque desde entonces soy muy feliz con mi primer tesoro.

Héctor Luis es mi hijo mayor, con quien conocí el amor puro, sincero e ilimitado; fue él quien me enseño a ser madre y al mismo tiempo le dio un rumbo a mi vida inesperado. Recuerdo que durante mi control prenatal la ginecóloga me dio como posible fecha de parto para el 18 de febrero pero como era primeriza lo mas seguro seria que se adelantara el parto, lo cual no fue así ya que el día 16 comencé a sentir molestias, luego el 17 muy temprano ya el malestar era fuerte por lo que decidimos con el papá de mi hijo dirigirnos al hospital de la ciudad en donde me atendió un médico residente y me dijo que faltaba mucho, que era necesario subir y bajar escaleras; y que consumiera unicamente líquidos, así lo hice durante el día pero como las contracciones eran seguidas nos quedamos en las instalaciones del hospital por si se presentaba el parto.

I remember that during my prenatal control the gynecologist gave me a possible delivery date for February 18, but as I was a first-time mother, it would be safest to bring forward the delivery, which was not so because on the 16th I began to feel discomfort, then very early on the 17th the discomfort was already strong so we decided with the father of my son to go to the hospital in the city where I was attended by a resident doctor and told me that I had a long way to go, that it was necessary to go up and down stairs, and to consume only liquids, and to consume only liquids; I did so during the day, but since the contractions were continuous, we stayed at the hospital in case the delivery took place.
Cuando se hicieron las 6 de la tarde, recuerdo claramente que rompí fuente y en el mismo instante me desmaye por lo que me llevaron a sala de parto donde me pusieron 2 botellas del famoso pitocin pero a todas estas no pasaba nada, ni contracciones tenia, las horas se hacían largas y ya estaba entrando en desesperación porque la única que estaba en la habitación era yo, escasamente vi a la señora de la limpieza y ya cuando se hicieron las 11 de la noche apareció la doctora de guardia con seis pasantes, todas se colocaron a mi alrededor mientras la especialista daba la clase, mientras tanto me daba indicaciones para acelerar el parto y fue hasta la 1 de la mañana del día 18 cuando nación mi hijo; parece mentira pero si digo que tuve dolores, mentiría; los pocos dolores que tuve fue durante en día, ni porque me pudieron pitocin sentí dolores.
When it was 6 o'clock in the evening, I clearly remember that my water broke and at the same moment I fainted, so they took me to the delivery room where they gave me two bottles of the famous pitocin, but nothing was happening, I had no contractions, the hours were getting long and I was getting desperate because the only one in the room was me, I barely saw the cleaning lady and when it was 11 o'clock at night the doctor on duty appeared with six interns, they all stood around me while the specialist gave the class, meanwhile she gave me indications to accelerate the delivery and it was until 1 o'clock in the morning of the 18th when my son was born; It seems unbelievable but if I say that I had pain, I would be lying; the few pains I had were during the day, not even because they could pitocin me felt pains.
Mi hijo al parecer estaba bien, realmente no lo vio ningún pediatra ya que en esos días era carnaval por lo que tuve que esperar hasta el día jueves, seis días después para llevarlo con la el pediatra quien al examinarlo me comento que el niño era un milagro porque el parto se me estaba pasando, le pregunte que en que se basaba para afirmarlo y me respondió que el bebé estaba perdiendo peso y ademas de ello la piel se le salia como arena, cuando me dijo eso sentí que todo se me cenia encima y lo único que hice fue llorar. Durante los tres primero meses estuvimos asistiendo semanalmente a consulta de neonatología para que el medico pudiese observar de cerca la evolución de mi niño que gracias a Dios pudo superar toda la situación.
My son apparently was fine, actually no pediatrician saw him since it was carnival time, so I had to wait until Thursday, six days later to take him to the pediatrician who upon examining him told me that the child was a miracle because the delivery was passing, I asked him what he was basing his statement on and he answered that the baby was losing weight and besides that the skin was coming off like sand, when he told me that I felt that everything was falling on me and all I did was cry. During the first three months we were attending weekly neonatology consultation so that the doctor could closely observe the evolution of my child who thank God was able to overcome the whole situation.
Hoy cuando mi hijo cumple quince años de feliz existencia agradezco a Dios, a la vida y al Universo entero por regalarme esta hermosa oportunidad de ser madre de un ser maravilloso como lo es Héctor, quien se caracteriza por ser responsable, dedicado, colaborador, respetuoso e inteligente; por ello digo que mi hijo es un milagro de vida.
Today, when my son turns fifteen years of happy existence, I thank God, life and the entire Universe for giving me this beautiful opportunity to be the mother of a wonderful being such as Hector, who is characterized by being responsible, dedicated, collaborative, respectful and intelligent; that is why I say that my son is a miracle of life.
En este día tan esperado trate en lo posible de llenarlo de felicidad con las cosas que le gustan, por eso me levante muy temprano para prepararle una sorpresa con un arreglo de globos que me hizo una vecina y eso lo acompañé de unos globos de números que forman el 15 ; y también una bolsa de regalo que contiene diversos tipos de chocolates y reloj con lo cual mostró agrado y satisfacción.
On this long awaited day I tried as much as possible to fill him with happiness with the things he likes, so I got up very early to prepare a surprise with an arrangement of balloons that a neighbor made me and that I accompanied it with some balloons of numbers that form the 15; and also a gift bag containing various types of chocolates and watch with which he showed pleasure and satisfaction.
Para el almuerzo fuimos Héctor, Cristian(mi hijo menor) mi hermana Sandra y Mateo mi sobrino a un lugar muy mencionado en la ciudad por su excelente comida y atención, allí estuvimos alrededor de tres horas compartiendo unas deliciosas burguerpizas con tequeño; creo que el nombre de la comida lo dice todo, es una combinación de hamburguesa con pizza que es una explosión de sabores al paladar, demás está decir que el cumpleañero se encontraba sumamente feliz porque le encanta comer; el único que no comió ese platillo fue mi sobrino Mateo quien prefirió su comida favorita que es el pollo frito con papas fritas y tequeños.
For lunch we went Hector, Cristian (my youngest son) my sister Sandra and Mateo my nephew to a place very mentioned in the city for its excellent food and attention, there we spent about three hours sharing some delicious burgerpizas with tequeño; I think the name of the food says it all, it is a combination of hamburger with pizza that is an explosion of flavors to the palate, needless to say that the birthday boy was extremely happy because he loves to eat; the only one who did not eat that dish was my nephew Mateo who preferred his favorite food which is fried chicken with french fries and tequeños.
Al llegar a casa llegó la sorpresa de la torta y fue sorpresa porque Héctor pensaba que no tendría su anhelado pastel de chocolate, pero no le haría semejante maldad a ninguno de mis hijos; creo que a ningún niño debe faltarle una torta el día de su cumpleaños porque es una linda ilusión que ningún adulto tiene derecho a dañar; por lo que mi hijo quien ya no es tan niño; mas bien esta en la edad de la adolescencia también tuvo su torta, detalle que lo hizo muy feliz en este día tan importante.
When we got home the surprise of the cake arrived and it was a surprise because Hector thought he would not have his longed chocolate cake, but I would not do such a bad thing to any of my children; I believe that no child should miss a cake on his birthday because it is a nice illusion that no adult has the right to damage; so my son who is no longer a child; rather he is in the age of adolescence also had his cake, a detail that made him very happy on this important day.
