Cada quince de diciembre inicia una hermosa tradición que identifica a la iglesia católica, la cual es vestirse de alegría navideña con sus famosas misas de gallo las cuales tienen como finalidad agrupar mas que todo a niños y jóvenes a muy tempranas horas del día; cuando aún todo está muy oscuro y es la hora del canto del gallo se escuchan las campanas de la iglesia, de allí el nombre de "Misa de Gallo". Esta celebración tan popular se realiza en conmemoración del nacimiento de Jesús, la cual se celebra por todo lo alto con hermosos cantos, mucha algarabía y no pueden faltar en ellas los fuegos artificiales.
Every December 15th begins a beautiful tradition that identifies the Catholic Church, which is to dress in Christmas joy with its famous rooster masses which are intended to bring together mostly children and young people very early in the day, when everything is still very dark and it is time for the rooster crowing the church bells are heard, hence the name "Misa de Gallo" (Rooster Mass). This popular celebration is held in commemoration of the birth of Jesus, which is celebrated in style with beautiful songs, lots of noise and fireworks.
Es costumbre que las instituciones y organismos que prestan servicio a la sociedad se encarguen de un día de misa, por lo que en cada madrugada luego de la celebración eucarística se ofrecen diferentes comidas y bebidas tradicionales a la época decembrina a los asistentes de dicho evento y esta es una forma de compartir navideño que se da como tradición.
It is customary that the institutions and organizations that provide service to society are in charge of a day of mass, so in every early morning after the Eucharistic celebration different traditional food and drinks are offered to the attendees of the event and this is a form of Christmas sharing that is given as a tradition.
Otra de las características de la misa de gallo son los cantos que se realizan antes, durante y después del evento, estos son propicios para la ocasión ya que son los acostumbrados aguinaldos, villancicos y gaitas tradicionales que le dan un toque especial y alegre a tal celebración, lo que hace a estos encuentros vespertinos muy especial por lo que atrae mucha más audiencia.
Another of the characteristics of the rooster mass are the songs that are performed before, during and after the event, these are appropriate for the occasion since they are the usual aguinaldos, Christmas carols and traditional bagpipes that give a special and joyful touch to such celebration, which makes these evening gatherings very special and attracts much more audience.
Los asistentes a esta celebración acostumbran a usar bufandas y gorros que diferencian a la navidad, ademas dichos atuendos hacen que dicho momento sea especial ya que tanto los niños, adolescentes y adultos se visten de alegría a través de esta linda vestimenta que forma parte de la navidad y que sin importar la edad todos la pueden usar y sacar ese niño interno que cada ser humano lleva por dentro.
The attendees to this celebration are used to wear scarves and hats that differentiate Christmas, also these outfits make this moment special because both children, adolescents and adults are dressed with joy through this beautiful clothing that is part of Christmas and regardless of age everyone can use it and bring out that inner child that every human being carries inside.
