FATHER'S DAY INITIATIVE

This month of June marks a very special date, an opportunity to honor and celebrate our loved ones, from friends and godparents to our parents and grandparents. In my opinion, every day should be a day to celebrate and honor our parents, as their effort and dedication are the reason why we are here today, sharing this moment together or just reading this post.

Although the date has already passed the month, it is not over yet and I want to take this moment through this initiative of the Family and Friends community to express, from the bottom of my heart, a few words of love to the man who helped together with my mother to give me life that September 17th....

FATHER

You who helped give me life more than 20 years ago, I tell you that I love you every second, minute and day of my life, because even though you did not expect it, I came to transform your world in an unexpected way. I brought you laughter, I brought you sobs and I gave you hope to see a new world full of joy and colors.

And I love you for all the times you never left me alone in spite of the great burden and responsibility you had at work, because you sacrificed hours of lunch and sleep to run out to buy food, diapers, and all kinds of objects that were requested at school for my education and upbringing, for that I thank you.

At the same time, believe it or not, I know firsthand the great effort you make to get the necessary resources to give me a decent life to live, a roof over my head and a great education to help me in the work environment of the profession I decided to study, so today I tell you, among other things, that all the effort you made to excel as a professional was worth it, because today you are not only a father but a great worker indispensable to many entities and a great friend to many people. You are undoubtedly the image of success that I wish to follow.

Therefore, now I thank you for teaching me that life is not only gray, that, on the contrary, this has a thousand colors as different shades for each situation and day, since although the work is a somewhat exhausting work, the real reward is the monetary profits to share with family or friends, since life is not only about money, but to know how to manage resources in such a way that allow the happiness of our loved ones through investments in outings with friends and family.

And from you I learned that family grudges are only temporary feelings, since we are beings full of love to give and receive, since the family, although not chosen or chosen, will always be with us in the most serious situations as the most positive; to you I thank you for letting me know my grandfather, because even though he had not been the father you expected him to be, I still give you life, for which today I am grateful, because there is only one father and that is you.

You who have been by my side in my achievements, in my failures, I thank you for never having left me alone; even though I cried because of how big and difficult the obstacles were, which even turned into nightmares, you always placed your shoulder to rest my head and face reality.

And in spite of all the times I told you: Father, I can't give any more of myself.
You answered me:Just see the world from another point of view.

And that is how with your advice, words, sayings, punishments and teachings I have learned not only to love myself as I am, but to understand that this life is only one and that the most valuable time is the one created by my feelings of joy, because I am the one who has the power to change the environment in which I want to be and I am the one who decides which people to love with all my heart.

In conclusion? If you read this publication that I will soon show you, I want you to understand all these feelings of gratitude and love that I feel towards you, I want you to understand that I know about your efforts, your sacrifices and as a daughter believe me that I strive every day to show you my support, understanding and love, sometimes presented in silent actions and many others in words, because at the end of the day I only have a father whom I want to care and love with the same dedication that you have given me through the more than 20 years of my life.
