[ENG][ESP] The best time of the year // La mejor época del año

     Hello to all the Gems community, we are already culminating the first week of December, and Christmas is feeling more and more in the air.

     Hola a toda la comunidad de Gems, ya estamos culminando la primera semana del mes de diciembre, y la navidad cada vez se siente más en el aire.

     In Venezuela, my country, it is a tradition to decorate the plazas with this theme, even weeks before December, Christmas flies by, so the earlier we start celebrating, the better. That's why my girlfriend and I went to visit a couple of them, and of course to take a few pictures for the memory.

     En Venezuela, mi país, es tradición adornar las plazas con esta temática, incluso semanas antes de diciembre, la navidad pasa volando, así mientras más temprano la comencemos a festejar, mucho mejor. Por eso, mi novia y yo fuimos a visitar un par de ellas, y por supuesto a tomarnos unas cuantas fotos para el recuerdo.

     The first of them was the Plaza Bolivar in San Felipe, Edo, Yaracuy, this was decorated from end to end, there were lights everywhere, although the amount of people was not far behind, it was full of people, we almost had to wait in line to take pictures, but that, they were great, of course, with my beautiful bride as a model.

     La primera de ellas fue la Plaza Bolívar de San Felipe, Edo, Yaracuy, esta estaba decorada de punta a punta, había luces por todos lados, aunque la cantidad de gente no se quedaba atrás, estaba repleta de personas, por poco teníamos que hacer fila para tomarnos fotos, pero eso, quedaron geniales, por supuesto, con mi hermosa novia de modelo.

     That square is in front of a government building, and on it, in the background, a very nice Christmas tree, so we came up with an idea for a great photo, and this was the result:

     Esa plaza queda en frente de un edificio de gobierno, y en él, al fondo, un árbol de navidad muy bonito, entonces se nos ocurrió una idea para una gran foto, y este fue el resultado:

     Finally, we couldn't leave without taking a picture of the giant Christmas tree that was there, this was the biggest attraction of the place and of course there were many people waiting to take pictures, so as soon as we found the opportunity, we took it without hesitation.

     Por último, no nos podíamos ir de allí sin tomar una foto en el Árbol de Navidad gigante que allí se encontraba, esta era la mayor atracción del lugar y por supuesto había mucha gente esperando para tomarse fotos, así que apenas encontramos la oportunidad, la tomamos sin dudarlo.

     Weeks later, we also had the opportunity to visit the Plaza Bolivar in Chivacoa, which had been decorated a couple of weeks after the previous one, and as we were walking around there, we decided to take advantage and see how it was decorated this year. In this one we were not very impressed by the Christmas tree, as it was a bit exotic for our taste, but we did notice a star that looked spectacular at night, so we could not leave there without capturing it in a photo.

     Semanas después, también tuvimos la oportunidad de visitar la Plaza Bolívar de Chivacoa, que habían decorado un par de semanas después que la anterior, y cómo andábamos paseando por allí, decidimos aprovechar y ver como estaba decorada este año. En esta no nos llamó mucho la atención el árbol de navidad, ya que era algo exótico para nuestro gusto, pero sí que nos llamó la atención una estrella iluminaba que quedaba espectacular de noche, así que no nos podíamos ir de allí sin capturarlo en una foto.

     Christmas is our favorite time of the year, and not only because of the lights and decorations, but because of the atmosphere you feel wherever you go, Christmas music here and there give it that festive touch so characteristic of these dates, and what better way to share it with that special person I love so much.

     La navidad es nuestra época del año favorita, y no solo por las luces o la decoración, si no por el ambiente que se siente vayas a donde vayas, la música navideña por aquí y por allá le dan ese toque festivo tan característico de estas fechas, y que mejor que compartirlo junto a esa persona especial que tanto amo.
