Alfred's experience in the musty dungeon was stiflingly humdrum, yet a glimmer of optimism appeared from inside the dreary dullness and loneliness. It was revealed to King Theodore III that Alfred was imprisoned, and the benevolent ruler promptly initiated measures to release him.

At the crux of the country's war update, the atmosphere was exceedingly depressing. The battle had caused significant harm to all sides, and King Theodore III was apprehensive that an enduring conflict would only increase the harm. He was determined to halt the hostility and reunite with his skilled soldier, Alfred.
