La mañana del lunes, la señora María despertó con el sonido escandaloso de la alarma del reloj.
Se vistió, preparó el desayuno y se sentó en el sofá a ver la televisión mientras sus hijos se acercaban a la mesa.
Era las cinco de la mañana y el teléfono sonó.
María se levantó con inquietud y contesto.
Al otro lado de la línea, no se escuchaba nada.
María esperó unos segundos, pero no hubo respuesta.
Repitió el “aló” con más fuerza.
Todavía no había respuesta.
María empezó a ponerse nerviosa.
Preguntó ¿quién era?
Pero nadie hablaba.
Colgó el teléfono y preguntó a sus hijos si habían sido ellos con unas de sus bromas.
Los niños negaron con la cabeza.
María se levantó y se dirigió a la cocina.
¿Quién habrá sido?, se preguntó.
De repente, el teléfono sonó de nuevo.
María se volteó y miró el aparato.
Con el corazón en la garganta, contesto.
Al otro lado de la línea, se escuchó una voz gritando auxilio.
María se quedó boquiabierta.
No reconocía la voz.
La voz gritaba una y otra vez solicitando ayuda.
María sintió un escalofrío recorrer la espalda.
—¿Qué pasa? —preguntó.
La voz respondió que la habían secuestrado.
María se quedó sin palabras.
La persona gritó nuevamente diciendo que no podía respirar.
La llamada se cortó.
María Quedó petrificada, con el teléfono en la mano.
No sabía qué pasaba, pero algo tenía que hacer.
Se dirigió a la cocina, vio a sus hijos y luego, salió de casa. No sabía a dónde iba, pero tenía que encontrar a esa persona.
Tenía que ayudarla.

On Monday morning, Mrs. Maria awoke to the shocking sound of the alarm clock.
She dressed, prepared breakfast and sat on the couch watching TV while her children came to the table.
It was five in the morning and the phone rang.
Maria stood up uneasily and answered.
On the other end of the line, nothing could be heard.
Maria waited a few seconds, but there was no answer.
He repeated the "aló" louder.
There was still no response.
Maria started to get nervous.
He asked who it was?
But no one was talking.
She hung up the phone and asked her children if it was them with one of their pranks.
The children shook their heads.
Maria got up and headed for the kitchen.
Who could it have been, he wondered.
Suddenly, the phone rang again.
Maria turned and looked at the device.
With my heart in my throat, I answer.
On the other end of the line, a voice was heard shouting for help.
Maria's jaw dropped.
I did not recognize the voice.
The voice cried out again and again for help.
Maria felt a shiver run down her spine.
-What is it? -he asked.
The voice replied that she had been kidnapped.
Maria was speechless.
The person screamed again saying that he could not breathe.
The call was cut off.
Maria was petrified, with the phone in her hand.
I didn't know what was going on, but something had to be done.
She went to the kitchen, saw her children and then left the house. She didn't know where she was going, but she had to find this person.
She had to help her.

¡Qué brutal está esto, hermano! Fascinado con tu forma de narrar, sinceramente te felicito porque es un estilo muuuy acorde a este tipo de cuento, es precisa y bien entonada, calza perfecto con la historia, porque esas pausas y ritmos son los que necesita la narración para darle tensión y suspenso a lo que nos dices.
El video también está super bien hecho, los efectos son muy buenos, creo que ese parpadeo ayudó a que la trama se sostuviese visualmente. Hay dos recomendaciones que te puedo dar con lo que creo que conseguirías otro peldaño en este género, te los comparto por Discord, si gustas.
