Bitfinex is down due to DDOS attack, this dump looks orchestrated to me...
Hello LeoFinance and Hive Community!
This is going to be my first post in LeoFinace and it's going to be short and straight to the point. I am a gamer and all of my posts are Splinterlands related but i wanted to add this one just to see the Hive community reaction... as i am very new in the crypto world!
Well to much about me and let's go back to the topic which i think is super hot....
This is too much to be just a coincidence...
This all looks like a coordinated effort to push the price of bitcoin down.
Someone attacked BitFinex at the same time the price plunged...
That would mean previous stop loss orders would be in place and easy to head hunt for an aggressive short seller.
This was done on purpose:
So you take down the largest bitcoin exchange and then short the heck out of it....
Since i am new in the crypto world and most of my assets are because of gaming i am looking forward to see some reactions and feedback from some Hive members...

I'm relatively new to Crypto as well and I noticed that many seasoned analysts got burned too and it was unexpected (a dip down to the 42k zone was expected yes but probably following a retest of the resistance first, not that sudden). And yes sooo many coincidences to think that is casual.
Tbf this plunge made me re-evaluate some trading habits and made me realize that despite being absolutely satisfied of making profits with trades I feel much more fulfilled utilizing cryptos actively (like Hive, Brave, Theta). Seeing all these market swings and greed is making me feeling "unhappy" of the air around the Crypto market.
I totally agree... Hive Blockchain is pure dope, and i love it because i can write down my Splinterlands journey... i actually got my Hive account after i purchase the Summoner's SpellBook!
I am using Brave as well and the rest, well... in my case it's all about gaming...
Strange to see all this happening when today was well the El Salvador major switch to BTC...like you mention i think there are way to many coincidences to think that this is just casual!
