Hola a todos mis queridos lectores de esta comunidad, espero que se encuentren muy bien, hoy quiero compartir con ustedes parte de lo que ha sido mi experiencia como maquilladora, no les hablaré de todo el proceso porque se me haría muy largo.

Antes que todo les cuento que hacen 5 años no tenía idea de que está pasión la iba a desarrollar como un trabajo, me gustaba arreglarme y maquillarme pero la verdad lo poco que sabía lo había visto en Youtube, y a veces me sentía frustrada porque el maquillaje de ojos no me salía bien.

First of all I tell you that 5 years ago I had no idea that this passion was going to develop it as a job, I liked to fix myself and make up but the truth is that the little I knew I had seen on Youtube, and sometimes I felt frustrated because the eye makeup did not come out well.

En marzo del 2018 una amiga me invitó a participar en un curso de automaquillaje básico con 2 chicas que saben muchísimo, su Instagram es @twinsmakeup_rg, ese día aprendí muchísimo y me empezó a interesar mucho más este arte.

In March 2018 a friend invited me to participate in a basic self makeup course with 2 girls who know a lot, their Instagram is @twinsmakeup_rg, that day I learned a lot and I started to be much more interested in this art.

Adquirí mis primeros productos, pero cometí un error, compré réplicas sin estar informada que estás hacen daño a nuestra piel y obviamente el resultado del maquillaje no es igual que con productos originales, por eso siempre recomiendo que es mejor calidad que cantidad.

I bought my first products, but I made a mistake, I bought replicas without being informed that they are harmful to our skin and obviously the result of the makeup is not the same as with original products, so I always recommend that quality is better than quantity.

Practicaba casi todos los días con mis hermanas, amigas y hasta conmigo, yo la verdad sentía que lo hacía excelente, pero hoy veo mi trabajo de antes y me doy cuenta de cuánto he avanzado, aunque aún falta mucho camino por recorrer.

I practiced almost every day with my sisters, friends and even myself, I really felt that I was doing excellent, but today I see my work from before and I realize how far I have come, although there is still a long way to go.

Las fotos me las tomaba en la sala de mi casa con luz natural, a veces me ayudaba mi mamá y mi hermana, pero luego mi hermano me hizo un foco de luz para que las fotos salieran mejor, no podía comprar un aro porque eran muy costosos.

The photos were taken in the living room of my house with natural light, sometimes my mom and my sister helped me, but then my brother made me a light bulb so that the photos came out better, I could not buy a ring because they were very expensive.

No me conforme con lo poco que sabía, sino que quería mejorar, decidí hacer otro curso está vez un poco más profesional, aprendí cosas que no sabía y me dí cuenta que podía mejorar.

I was not satisfied with the little I knew, I wanted to improve, I decided to take another course, this time a little more professional, I learned things I did not know and I realized that I could improve.

Evolucione mucho y fue notorio porque empecé a tener clientes, y cada vez me daban mejores comentarios, esto me hacía sentir muy feliz porque un buen comentario es sinónimo de que vas bien.

I evolved a lot and it was noticeable because I started to have clients, and each time they gave me better comments, this made me feel very happy because a good comment is synonymous that you are doing well.

En 2020 maquille a una amiga para un concurso de belleza virtual y me dí a conocer aún más, por ser primera vez que mi trabajo estaba en una competencia me daba un poco de nervios pero lo hice confiando en mis capacidades.

In 2020 I did a friend's makeup for a virtual beauty contest and I became even more known, being the first time that my work was in a competition I was a little nervous but I did it with confidence in my abilities.

También he tenido la oportunidad de maquillar a chicas el día de sus bodas, aunque casi nunca he podido tomar una buena foto.

I've also had the opportunity to do makeup for girls on their wedding day, although I've almost never been able to take a good photo.

Hoy gracias Dios, al esfuerzo y motivación, tengo mi mini estudio de belleza el cual quiero seguir agrandando para ofrecer más servicios.

Today, thanks to God, effort and motivation, I have my mini beauty studio which I want to continue to expand to offer more services.

Para concluir con estás líneas, les voy a dejar unos tips que a mí me funcionan mucho y que me hubiese gustado saber cuándo era nuevecita.

invierte en productos de skincare y productos de maquillaje originales, hay marcas económicas, no necesariamente deben ser los más caros.
Puedes usar un labial como rubor en crema, queda muy bien.
Toma tus fotos con la camara principal del teléfono, la de Instagram es muy buena, se que cuesta más pero se notará mucho mejor el trabajo, puedes colocar un espejo en frente de tí para más facilidad.
Si no tienes aro de luz puedes tomar las fotos cerca de una ventana donde te de el reflejo de luz, no lo hagas al medio día porque a esa hora la luz solar es muy fuerte.
Proponte metas, no te quedes estancado, confía en ti.

invest in skincare products and original makeup products, there are inexpensive brands, they don't necessarily have to be the most expensive ones.
You can use a lipstick as a cream blush, it looks great.
Take your photos with the main camera of your phone, the Instagram camera is very good, I know it costs more but it will show much better work, you can place a mirror in front of you for more ease.
If you don't have a light ring you can take the pictures near a window where you can see the reflection of light, don't do it at noon because at that time the sunlight is very strong.
Set goals, don't get stuck, trust in yourself.
