En los últimos tiempos a raíz de la situación mundial, esa que ya todos sabemos, yo creo que a muchos de nosotros nos ha tocado reflexionar bastante. También hemos pasado por emociones de miedo, desesperación y tristeza. Ver las cosas que van pasando a nuestro alrededor que implican días un poco turbios, separaciones, disrupciones, ausencia de todo aquello que antes nos era cotidiano, conocido y cercano. Particularmente, en este país, mi país, tú país los cambios han sido impresionantes desde muchos puntos de vista, sillas vacías, habitaciones con telarañas y silencio.



Una falta de contacto tremenda que se ha visto incrementada por una situación de crisis sanitaria a escala global. Un cambio abrupto donde las ausencias y la imposibilidad de despedidas se han quedado atascadas entre las agujas de un reloj segundero que ya casi no se usa y está quedando en el olvido de los jóvenes porque no es multifuncional.



Así, la virtualidad se ha metido tanto en nuestras vidas, y a Dios gracias existe, porque ha sido nuestra compañera en las malas y las buenas. Ha permitido el intercambio de lágrimas y risas, de secretos y complicidades, que parecieran ser imposibles de existir en este entorno. Aunque las cosas aún no se definen, porque esa incertidumbre que ha caracterizado estos últimos años le ha gustado acompañarnos, así que yo levanto mi voz de protesta para que estemos cada vez más cercanos y que podamos palparnos y sonreirnos frente a frente lo más pronto posible.



En este día de celebración de vida propuesto por Encuentro de Talentos les comparto algunas imágenes y les comento un poco sobre la experiencia que tuve recientemente dando una conferencia fue un poco estresante al principio pero siempre el amor y las ganas mueven la energía para que se obtenga el mejor resultado.

Y le di este título al post porque la semana pasada me invitaron a dar una charla en una comunidad de los Altos de Sucre en una posada que la verdad es una preciosura. Aunque ya he estado yendo con frecuencia a trabaja Lechería y eso me ha permitido conocer gente y disfrutar. No había tenido la oportunidad de conocer esta localidad donde además me relajé un poquitín.



Porqque el asunto amigos míos es que como voy a trabajar, es decir a hacer un conversatorio, muestreo o presentación yo me enfoco plenamente en eso y hasta que no termine pues no me dedico a otras cosas. Es decir no me entrego a la diversión. Yo estaba enfocada en que saliera bien.



Las personas habían ideado un espacio para colocar las sillas y la proyección que a pleno mediodía no se vería además de que produciría un derretimiento paulatino. Literalmente me iba a sublimar. Jajaja. Pero como era tan pintoresco y quedaba tan cuchi hicimos los esfuerzos y movimos muchas veces la pantalla aunque sabíamos que tendríamos el mismo resultado.



Finalmente, optamos por el lugar que yo había identificado como ideal por tenía un nivel de oscuridad adecuado. Pero ya estaba medio estresada porque había demorado bastante. Mientras movía todo y se preparaban los equipos no disfrute mucho del entorno, porque evidentemente estaba enfocada en el trabajo que había ido a hacer, así que me perdí las degustaciones de granola y yogurt y otras cosas y lo peor era que no había tomado desayuno. Peo no sentía hambre porque mi estómago en realidad estaba esperando que terminara la actividad.

Hubo buena asistencia la gente mostró interés, aunque para ser honesta debo simplificar mis presentaciones más porque habían muchos niños y aunque hice el esfuerzo no se si el mensaje llegó, o si logrará quedarse.



Sin embargo, el trabajo siempre se hace con amor. Yo ese día me sentí muy contenta, porque además de que me gusta enfrentar retos, me encanta conocer lugares y gente nueva y esta actividad me dio esta oportunidad. Así que luego de la presentación me dediqué a celebrar la vida, disfrutando del paisaje, conversando con las personas, disfrutando de un buen almuerzo y hasta jugando Scrabble aunque perdí. Por eso lo invito a celebrar la vida por todo lo alto estés donde estés ya solo respirar es algo genial, y luego empieza a ver a tu alrededor y de seguro que encontrarás algo para disfrutar.

Yo celebro la vida en cada actividad que hago por el ambiente, para llevar el mensaje y luego de una jornada fuerte de trabajo de campo o laboratorio me queda una gran satisfacción y me lleno de agradecimiento y energía para continuar al día siguiente. Que cada nuevo día lo veas como una oportunidad. Ese es mi deseo.

Although things are not yet defined, because that uncertainty that has characterized these last years has liked to accompany us, I raise my voice of protest so that we are closer and closer and that we can feel each other.

And I gave this title to the post because last week I was invited to give a talk in a community in the Altos de Sucre in a posada that is really beautiful. Although I have been going frequently to work Lechería and that has allowed me to meet people and enjoy. I had not had the opportunity to get to know this town where I also relaxed a little bit.

That is to say, I don't give myself to fun. I was focused on getting it right.



The people had devised a space to place the chairs and the projection that in the middle of the day would not be seen and would produce a gradual melting. I was literally going to sublimate. Hahaha. But since it was so picturesque and looked so cute we made the efforts and moved the screen many times even though we knew we would have the same result.



Finally, we opted for the place that I had identified as ideal because it had a suitable level of darkness. But I was already a little stressed because it had taken so long. While everything was being moved and the equipment was being prepared I didn't enjoy the environment very much, because I was obviously focused on the work I had gone to do, so I missed the granola and yogurt tastings and other things and the worst thing was that I hadn't had breakfast. But I didn't feel hungry because my stomach was actually waiting for the activity to end.



There was good attendance people showed interest, although to be honest, I should simplify my presentations more because there were a lot of children and although I made the effort I don't know if the message got through, or if it will manage to stay.



However, the work is always done with love. I felt very happy that day because besides the fact that I like to face challenges, I love to meet new places and people and this activity gave me this opportunity. So after the presentation, I dedicated myself to celebrating life, enjoying the scenery, talking with people, enjoying a good lunch, and even playing Scrabble even though I lost. So I invite you to celebrate life in style wherever you are as just breathing is great, and then start looking around you and you are sure to find something to enjoy.



I celebrate life in every activity I do for the environment, to carry the message and after a hard day of field or lab work I am left with great satisfaction and I am filled with gratitude and energy to continue the next day. May each new day be seen as an opportunity. That is my wish.

Esas experiencias son únicas, lo forjan a uno, lo preparan para el siguiente paso. También soy como tu, primero el trabajo y luego el placer, eso de trabajar en la playa o en una posada cuando ves que todos disfrutan y tú no, es difícil jeje. PEro luego viene el momento de uno y ahí sí agárrense
